Well, the old performance issue is back that causes incredible amounts of stuttering, especially in menus.

+7 Wasn't this the default a year ago? I could have sworn that the one of the only ways to level engineering was through using siege weapons. Might have been a mod?

Regardless, doing anything but that is kind of insane. Engineering has always been an incredible chore to level, even with mods giving multiple x skill gain.

I would even go so far as to make ANYTHING related to siege equipment level up Engineering. Ballistas, catapults, rams, towers, pots and rocks, even putting up a ladder should count imo. It's very straightforward and makes engineering more fun to level too.

Unfortunately, Steamdb action hasn't been too reliable lately. We'll see.

Too late for an update, maybe next week. But it´s more important that we get a significant update as the last patch.

I would prefer waiting 3 weeks and get something like banners / troop placement before battles / fixed siege AI and stuff like this instead of getting 1.6.3 with some bug fixes and new pig textures, 2 new helmets and 5 new scenes.

And my expectations from the next patch is improving on and stabilizing the campaign menu map click performance issues, and fixing asset loading.

TW typically releases updates about a month apart, and not necessarily an exact month. If they run into a serious bug during testing, they have to delay the patch. Also they don't release during/before the weekend.

If they released updates too frequently, it would be hard to get good feedback, and also it would be so frustrating for mod developers to update their mods to new versions that they would probably stop modding. So a month is a pretty good interval.

It is no less frustrating for them now, since many modders have abandoned their creations until full release.

Considering the current "one update a month (maybe lol)" cycle during the game development, I think the update frequency after the official release will be even lower, so the mods lifecycle will be bigger
