Hope so, it's definitely the worst of the two issues.
Not sure if missing wanderers or icons are worse, both should have been fixed by now instead of this:
- Fixed a crash that occurred when the player or hideout boss killed spectator troops during a hideout duel.
- Fixed a crash caused by loading an old save that starts immediately with the siege aftermath menu, (which has been changed in new versions and contains pillaging options).
- Fixed a crash caused by average item price calculations.
Fixes
- Fixed an issue that directs the player to a peace menu while raiding a settlement even though no peace occurs.
- Average gold amounts of towns are increased.
Who wants to load a save game into a broken game version?
How many players reported that hideout boss bug which can even be prevented easily?
I got told that it is important to test the alpha version of this EA beta release which could be final in Q4/2021 if (!) we are "lucky". Ok, but why then focus to be able to play an old save with the newest still broken version of the game? Priorities? You want more players on a broken alpha release of a beta version of an EA game?
What´s next? A new pig texture? How many blind shots will TW need to fix those already to be claimed bugs? How many of those bugs will occur with the next patch IF they´re able to really fix one of them?
That´s really some quality work with the right priorities....this is a full tripple A game price release if somebody forgot....not a 9,99€ - 19,99€ indie game title where 1-5 guys are working on it. But of course it feels like it´s a small indie game with 5 devs, but even that would insult most small indie game dev companies.
But if your workforce is working on the console release with 3/4 of it´s "strenght"....sure, TW will never admit it and I can´t "proove" it, but this must be the case. Otherwise it´s even worse...but be sure that the console release will be together with the PC "final" release or something like 1-3 months later. They´ve shown that they are already changing UI stuff for a better console version (battle command menu, battle troop slider #RIP). And that´s just the beginning. Nobody, literally nobody asked for one of those two changes or?
Did anyone ever played the game and thought stuff like "Oh this command menu is really bad, I want a wheel instead of keyboard shortcuts" or "I´m too stupid to set up my performance settings on my pc, why is this game running bad on my crap pc with 750 battle troop size? This game would be better if I had less options to choose"? Maybe I missed those threads...
Better ignore the REALLY broken stuff like siege AI, smithing and whatever since RELEASE. They "claimed" the final release will be ready within 1 year, we are 1,5 month away from this year.....it´s far away from beeing final....49,99€!
