This is way off the topic BUT IMPORTANT!! I HIGHLY ADVICE for TW to POSTPONE FULL RELEASE and add atleast MINIMUM 1 additional year of being in early acces. That way you dont end up in Cyberpunk situation and also gives additional time for you to improve, fix, stabilize the game alongside add more content/features/mechanics into the game.TW will be bashed/attacked eaghter way no matter what TW does.So its much better to be bashed for big delay but then when game comes fully out it has minimum to no bugs/problems and has alot of features/mechanics and stuff to do than being bashed for releasing it way way early to please certain people from community and then being additionaly draged to the mud due to game being bare bones/shallow/lack of content and having alot of bugs and problems.Thast juts my two cents or Atleast thast what i would do if i was the BOSS.I would (if havee financing constrains and publisher/investors breathig on my neck) then i would try adn postone it for another year if i can but otherwise if I was the BOSS i would minimum add additional 2-3 years of development to add different stles of feast, different style of wedding ceremonies, would add temporary war camp/outpost/party camp-rest/creat your own castle from scratch aka fro small village build all the way to the castle mechanics that some were in warband and just make it deeper/more meaningfull/more in depth. Then i owuldve do a full release. No need to delete it, thanks for sharing.
I always tend to share there first because preparing the Steam post is a bit of a pain whereas our website and forums allow me to copy-paste from Steam and retain the formatting.
Also, most people don't check the forums but do tend to notice when their Steam starts downloading an update, so this helps to save us from the inevitable threads on the Steam forum asking what the update is.
We're kinda far from a cyberpunk situation. TW knew there would be bugs so that's why we're EA.This is way off the topic BUT IMPORTANT!! We allready have and entire thread to show why it differs form cyberpunk so there's no point in comparison anymore as others might get offended.Beta option is 1.5.6
Callum said we will release the game when we think it's ready, there won't be a certain deadline
That´s also what CDPR said about CyberpunkBeta option is 1.5.5

"it's coming when it's ready" the thing is, TW doesn't have shareholders screeching "RELEASEE THE GAME!"That´s also what CDPR said about Cyberpunk. But I believe TW in this case.
WE DON'T CARE HOW THE GAME IS BUT YOU PRESENTED IT READY"it's coming when it's ready" the thing is, TW doesn't have shareholders screeching "RELEASEE THE GAME!"
1.5.4 isn't beta, it's 'stable'. Beta is 1.5.5, so click on beta if you want to have 1.5.5.Hello,
Yes, I'm able to see 'beta" on the menu. I have Beta 1.5.4 installed, but on the drop down menu, e1.5.4 is the highest beta available for me to download.
Best regards,
Bill
technically there is a chance that they will release it tomorrow but I really don't think so, if they can fix the problems they found I think next week tuesday is a good dayAny chance for an update this week? Or next week? I want to relax a bit too, been some hard months

in 1.5.4 there is a campaign option to turn off battle deaths (which currently only affect non-autocalc battles that the player fights). In 1.5.5 they introduced an option that replaced that with a combined option for aging, death, birth. So now if you want aging and birth you have to accept battle deaths being on.I haven't played in a long time. Sort of waiting for a good release to try a playthrough.
What exactly is the death bug and why is it taking so long to fix?
death got enabled on every playtrough not considering what setting you had the option on.I haven't played in a long time. Sort of waiting for a good release to try a playthrough.

As TW stated, they are aware of it and working on it, not it is working as intended, although they didn't specify what they are working on, is it that almost all deaths occur in player run battles and not simulations or they meant to seperate death from old age, we don't know for sure since they won't give an exact answer to that question for almost 3 weeks now, so yeah it is a bug according to them, just not sure what the bug isin 1.5.4 there is a campaign option to turn off battle deaths (which currently only affect non-autocalc battles that the player fights). People are calling it a bug because in pre-1.5.5 saves that had the battle death option off now have it turned on because aging and birth weren't an option in the 1.5.4 and those were on. Personally I don't think this is a bug, just an unfortunate design choice to not keep the battle death option separate.
Hopefully they will change it.
Look at the post I edited in to that comment. The campaign option for birth/death was intentional. As TW stated, they are aware of it and working on it, not it is working as intended, although they didn't specify what they are working on, is it that almost all deaths occur in player run battles and not simulations or they meant to seperate death from old age, we don't know for sure since they won't give an exact answer to that question for almost 3 weeks now, so yeah it is a bug according to them, just not sure what the bug is
