Beta Patch Notes e1.5.5

They didn't mention it in the patch notes (for whatever reason) but the new Battanian chainmail armor that they showcased in the latest development update video is also added to the game with this patch.

Just when I thought the game was playable again, we get people in here complaining that workshops are making too much. Ok, nerf them (tanneries) by a just a little bit if you really must.

That's cool, I was disappointed that they didn't add a new armour when I read the patch note. Thanks for letting us know.

@mexxico i believe the issue with Tannery workshops in general. I set another Tannery in Sibir (because of village Kvol) and after 1 week this workshop is making 645 denars a day.
and another one in Seonon which after 1 week is making 600.
Marunath is in the lead, probably because of higher prosperity? And it looks like supply and demand have no effect on the income from workshops (if this even a thing)

Could this be connected to the low prices of hog, sheep, and cows at the moment?

I think this is happening because you continue a game which opened in previous versions. Tannery now converts only 2 item a day at 1.5.5 but at your game probably tanneries convert 8 a day. You can easily understand how many conversations your tanneries do at each day by checking number of leathers in marketplace. At a moment in a day leathers will produced if there are enough hides in market. If 8 leathers are produced this problem is related to your game opened at previous version and it will be normal if you start new game at 1.5.5

Well boys RIP to the governor teleporting trick. Seems that you only have the choice to assign someone as governor if they are in your party. This is going to make rounding up your captured companions really annoying now. We need some way to recall them now

I am sure at update time a lot of devs sit around and think how can we piss the players of the game off. Some devs obviously exempt from this criticism.

Eh this one was definitely an exploit, just sucks we lose it before they implement a proper solution to the reason we used the exploit (chasing our companions/family around the map as they teleport from town to town for tournaments if just waiting around).

People wouldn't care about disciplinarian perk if we actually had decent ways to recruit noble troops. Right now there just aren't enough Landowners in villages that can reach the proper power level to spawn them. We've even seen suggestions like letting castles/towns spawn noble troops

How much time are you going to waste in game just getting your companions back. I mean them not moving about as often would help. TBH dread to think how long it will take to provide an alternative..Regarding disciplinarian perk it does seem crazy that a bandit levels to a noble line. I saw a good suggestion that soldiers who have been with you a long time could be eligible for promotion to the noble line.
There is a leadership perk that increases the chance that T5 and T6 prisoners will join you. I have not got one yet.
They increased the herd penalty and moved the ability to buy a fief to 300, so that will take ages to achieve. Maybe when your children are fully functional it will make more sense.
Only way I could get my children to join was make them governor first. No idea how to get them now.

mhm... ok.

emm. is that so? i just moved my wife from Seonon to Marunath. I mean i emptied the governor position in Seonon and then moved her to Marunath. Teleport works.
old save or new one? I was unable to teleport my brother from Galend to Varcheg in a new 1.5.5 game

yeap.
so ah... 1.5.6 in a 2-4 weeks right?
Honestly I'm hoping 2 weeks at most. A lot of the bigger bugs in 1.5.5 are already fixed in 1.5.6, so far my playthrough is lacking in major issues and I'm finally taking some time to report some of the more UI/graphical issues that have been around for awhile now but haven't been as important

gonna start a new pt then, doubt i will be so lucky this time. In the current PT Eastern Empire captured Baltakhand(!!!) which negated Khuzait threat on Sturgia's eastern border for 4 years.

It would be nice if there was some kind of messaging system accessible through a town. Pay to send a rider (which could take 1 in game day), then you can have the normal conversation screen. That would lead to commands like "Follow me" which would have them go to wherever you are. There are mods that have *some* of these mechanics, but I think it would be more immersive than an automatic warp.

Yes I had thought about that in the past, it would be an immersive way of contacting your family and companions.

emm guys, do you see what i see?
i see a village that produces grain, but in the pop-up window, it says that the village produces cow. in the trade menu i see no cows but a lot of grain. and situation is the pretty much the same on the entire map.
