I imagine with the new implementations, bug fixes, adding code and work/life balance this explains the slower pace. Yup, could be faster, but at least they are bringing these features even IF modders have to flesh them out or perfect them, they are there.
A.I for sieges/ in general of course as many have stated is a big one, but most likely very difficult due to politics, marriages, rebellions, influence, and so much more.
Next, economy issues of course mix that with smithing balance and pricing, is not easy when they want it to be similar to a "breathing" economy or live one.
Optimizations are needed, and not talked about much. I don't know how people with i7 CPU, and 1080 TI are having such bad stuttering/ FPS loss. This should be fixed hopefully soon, even if they could increase the fps by 10 at this point during sieges and battles would be huge.
I look forward to what this all becomes, but as some have said it is now November, I imagine we will get half of what we want at best within the next 6 months.
