Beta Patch Notes e1.5.4

So I have noticed something that I think is affecting the way that the mid to late game plays out. All my recent games end with the same story. Khuzait and Battania do well. Sturgia, Vladia and the imperal factions doing badly.

It is like they went to war just to extort a small tribute which is a fine strategy in some cases but if this is the apparent sole ambition of weaker factions then they are doomed to be consumed by the stronger ones.

Mexxico was working on getting weak factions to recover as of two weeks ago.

Are we expecting a new patch this week? Eager to check out the new features and hopefully the perks finally being implemented compeltely.

There are no new settlements. The new clans are:
Banu Ruwaid
dey Rothad
fen Caernacht
Kostoroving
Oburit
Palladios

Vatatzes
Vetranis
They must only show up if you start a entirely new game because I have 2 saved games that began in 1.5.3. but have been since played when game was updated and they aren't there. I must need to start new campaign.

Is the fact that characters born after a campaign starts will never become actual characters when they come of age being looked at? Generational gameplay is supposed to be a feature.

I have a feeling that will come with the update to AI marriage. Right now without both parts they would just die out a little later without the ability to make new children
 
When should i come back for the next update? Battania and the K's are running away with it in my 154 playthrough. Without there being future generations for the AI and such i just figured I will wait for that to work. Is that happening with the next update or am I going to be waiting for awhile?

In the meantime anyone want to buy a Javelin from me? It's at a discount for 99K. Deal of the day! Won't last long. Limited supply.
 
Is siege pathfinding worse in general in this patch? Just attacked two battanian castles with level 1 walls (same scene) and both times our infantry mostly just stayed up on the ramparts to the left of the gatehouse once they were up the walls. I didn't see this in 1.53 but I don't remember these particular scenes.

I feel like the beginning of December we will have rebellions implemented. After that and the AI marriage / kids education, it will be good to do a full playthrough

I would like to see diplomacy improved for when you have your own kingdom.
 
I would just like to see a few more fixes before 1.5.5
1 hotfix in 12 days since 1.5.4 is scary to think so many issues arise from a patch and hardly nothing done to fix and we get a new beta branch with more problems,, Yikes

They may have a lot of the 1.5.4 hotfixes just included in 1.5.5. Kill two birds with one stone, focus more on dev than on running through the hotfix process
 
good idea, just implement hotfixes that might not work and include it in a major patch 1.5.5 that will introduce even more bugs and crashes, dont focus on fixing things just add to the good ole list "known issues"

They are not adding that much content to justify as many bugs that are present, just my opinion.

What fixes do you want?
One thing that I have noticed in the past is when looking to report bugs and issues many topics a dev/Mod has posted that a fix has been finished and will be added in future updates. So I don't know what they determine gets a hot fix and what waits for the future update.
ANyways my point is we may not be getting lots of fixes until the do a 1.5.5/1.5.6 exct

What are the issues from 1.5.4? Ive played it a lot and only one that seems to be the herd penalty slowing down caravans too much
