There is a discussion taking place in this thread that you are a part of, as is everyone else viewing this thread. You are not having a private conversation, and I don't think your comment is really fair. You don't have any reason to lash out at me.I didn't reply to you. Did I?
Thing is, your reply to my post doesn't relate to it. You are telling me that saving takes too long while I was trying to explain why does these freezes happening in the first place. I thought that you mistook my post as an answer to your post and that's what I was asking but it turns out language barrier hit hard there. While I get your point about save times I am still not sure why did you reply to my post because (i will be repeating this) we were not discussing the same thing. There is a discussion taking place in this thread that you are a part of, as is everyone else viewing this thread. Because I checked my saves when that happened and the game was saved every time.
It takes less then 2 seconds for me and that's how long it takes for me to quick save.

I didn't reply directly to you on my first post but it was intended as a response that took your post into consideration. You said:Thing is, your reply to my post doesn't relate to it. I'm saying it is a bug because an autosave feature shouldn't freeze the game like this. If it is noticeable at all, it should be just barely noticeable. Not to mention the game had been autosaving in 1.5.1 and earlier versions without any freezing taking place. I can't imagine this amount of delay was intended. It has to be a bug. If it isn't, then we can't be complacent to just write this off as autosave. The current situation is too disruptive and should get some attention from devs, IMO.Campaign freezes are just autosaves. Why do people consider it as a bug?

Nah patch is usually tuesday or wednesday but its definetly this weekKeeping fingers crossed, do we get something today ? It's been said that next beta was on testing already at last week. We might get something this week. May be today?
If I recall correctly, he solved (or rather faked it) this problem by adding a black screen while saving. Players stopped reporting it after that.It is most likely about saving rather than loading but 20 seconds is definitely not normal. It shouldn't be more than 2-3 seconds. Maybe your PS4 hard drive is too fragmented? PS4 have a "rebuild database" option that you can try. Also, the upcoming patch will have an option to turn off autosaving which might help with your case.
Minor improvement in autosave timings.

All I remember is they added the NO AUTO SAVES option for the ps4 and that improved the game immensely for me.This reminded me of the similar problem for the Warband on PS4. Look at this reply from a developer:

I am pretty confident these pauses are related to autosaving too hence this patch note:

I'm sure there are times when the two occur together, because some of the situations which generate the pause also a generate an autosave. I think there are more of the former than the latter, though.Because I checked my saves when that happened and the game was saved every time.
It seemed to arrive in the same patch that fixed the 'party information disappearing from the screen' issue - coincidentally, in pretty much the same situations which trigger the pause. It seems as though the game might be double checking/regenerating all party information (and maybe with a bit of debug code still enabled). It seems more like interface lag to me. Happens on many more situations than autosave does.
Giving a few options similar to the Skyrim would be better than a single one honestly. Being able to change the frequency of autosaves would be good too.All I remember is they added the NO AUTO SAVES option for the ps4 and that improved the game immensely for me.
I can save the game myself.
This user confirmed that it's related to autosaves by using mods to stop autosaves:I'm sure there are times when the two occur together, because some of the situations which generate the pause also a generate an autosave. I think there are more of the former than the latter, though.
He also states that this started with the latest hotfix for 1.5.2 which had a change related to autosaves.Yes I heard it has to do with auto saving as people made mods to disable auto save and works great

The stutters have been experienced by a multiple people, in different circumstances. Not all of them have a connection to autosaves. If one player has fixed th eproblem on their side by disabling autosaves, that's fine. A single user claiming to have fixed the stutters on their end by using a mo does not confirm anything.
How do you disable autosaves? I could not find the option.

There is this mod but I am not sure if it works on 1.5.3.How do you disable autosaves? I could not find the option.
Where did I claim that the problem is fixed? I claimed that the stutters are happening because they changed the autosave timings and even proposed solutions and showed how they dealt with this during Warband. Then again you are free to believe that it's unrelated to the autosaves. I haven't seen anyone reporting it in different circumstances then my experience so I have no reason to believe your claim. I have no idea where did that preference thing even come from and how it relates to anything but that attitude won't get you anywhere.Since the stuttters appear on more occasions than just autosave, you have no basis to claim that the problem is fixed. There is no constructive quality in trying to frame peoples' feedback to the devs according to your preferences.

Happens more frequently than autosaves.
Interesting. It happens to me on the usual autosave occations -after a batttle for example- but as well when changing windows in towns, like when changing from the trader window to going to the keep.
Should check my edit on that post. After playing more and keeping a closer eye when it happened, it was indeed the autosaving. I was originally mistaken.Maybe next time before you declare the cause of an issue you take notice of the posts people have made regarding it right in this thread:
