Beta Patch Notes e1.4.3

Armies being able to buy food in neutral towns has been an improvement which I hope TW won't remove. This has improved a lot some issues we were seeing in the past wwrw AI armies were constantly starving. If something has to change (I really have hand not much issues with this as long as I build granaries), I just hope that ths not bring back new/older issues.

Yes i agree. This should just be limited to some amount so they still won't be able to wage war against kingdoms on the other side of the map if they have only neutral territories inbetween.

Oh this **** just got real. Mesui went into my town with an army and bought all the food . All of it. **** her I'm fallwing her around buying all the food before she can, she's gonna starve out and I'm gonna punk her.
Fix it by making them buy food from their own faction fiefs or limiting how much they can buy from neutral. Don't give them free food or make them need less fodd. I'm ****ing tired of these endless (khuzait)armies marching all over constantly trying to take over everything, please make them disband and go home or starve out. Don't help them they're already the most annoying thing in the game.

Edit: And why are they knocked out from STARVING? They should die! They get to be a complete idiot and just drag 700 knocked out guys all over the map until they can find food? That's dum please stop letting the AI cheat so much.

Edit: And they're psychic? She knows when I buy all the food and changed her destination. They should have to actually go there and look for food.

Edit: They got caught by steppe bandits! Gonna go make room to pick up free troops from the hideout! To bad most got away in route.
I put a video up on youtube where I show ho armies are starving and take so much food, so I show how I just follow armies wait til they starve out and capture them, think i captured 5 Lords and 783 prisoners in one battle. I personally feel that people are consuming more than normal since except for sieges I never had an army take all consumables but without some type of evidence there isn't much I can do even posting videos to youtube, so roll with it
1) follow armies
2) wait for them to starve
3) capture them without fighting
4) Win Bannerlord

Sadly no . Devs said the past week that they were just waiting for fixing some crashes in 1.4.3, but all crashes issues have been already fixed with the friday's hotfix and still we do not have the 1.5.0. So I really do not know what is happenning.

Any news about 1.5? I was expecting it yesterday  I am waiting to start a new campaing.
I am sure they are ready to drop it but making sure 1.4.3 is stable enough could be an issue, there are still quite a few bugs and crashes to it. Just a guess, I could see a 50/50 chance this week, if a few more crashes get sorted out I could see a high jump in % for next week.

Which bugs and crashes? I am not finding anything about this.

not all there is one on the recent posts about castle siege crash just now

I just look at recent posts and there is a crash for sieges of a castle. They wont' get 1.4.3. perfect but want to be sure before it goes live that it is as stable as they can make it so they don't have to come back to it much and focus on 1.5 or newer content. They don't tell us everything so there can be issues we don't know about

I watched it's very amusing. I was going to catch her and her army but then I though I'd let steppe bandits get them. Sadly almost all prisoner escaped as they slowly took em back to the hide out. If I do that again I'll bring a small party so I can scoop em all up as troops. I was going to just beat her up then I noticed her starving so I though...hmmmm I'm faster so I can just go ahead of her and buy all the food.

What disturbed me most about the food hoarding and starving is that it doesn't even slow them down in the long run. The 'winner' factions still bulldoze the nerds and Sturgia disappears, despite the big guys starving out as they try to siege all over the map with non-stop armies.

on the main forum page on the right hand side it shows recent posts and there is one there

2 more just not bug in city, crash while moving on map they scroll quickly

It would be easier if you could provide the post link . I cannot find anything in the general, singleplayer or techsupport forums. I have the feeling that it is something related to TW having issues with 1.5.0 deploying or maybe applying the last hotfixes in 1.5.0. Who knows...

The biggest deal for me is I spent most of last week trying to figure out what is wrong, and I know mexicco spent a lot as well and we really didn't nail a perfect cause of it, we have some ideas and he is going to change some coding but i really fear this issue will still be here in 1.5 and we wil have to go through the process all over again.

What do you guys think the causes are? It's very interesting but I'm surprised it isn't because of some known change.

I honestly feel something in the code changes during a hotfix that causes all Lords troops to consume more food. I really really feel that is it. I happened around the 11/08 hotfix, but as I don't know code I can provide any type of proof except videos I can post to try and give them ideas where to look

Starving armies is not new and I have been finding them eventually since game release. It has got better after patches (especially after lords being able to buy food in neutral towns) and it is not common to happen currently. You can just activate check to see the whole map and check all armies.

Not sure if armies are consuming more food than they should, but I think it is just about miscalculation when armies have to besiege far settlements which are not new at all.

I see armies starve regularly within 5 days of leaving towns, for the most part 5 days sin't enough travel to a place, siege it and return to a town before staving out, but as of that hotfix I have seen it a lot more lately and that is all I am basing it on. yeah starving isn't new but it appears the frequency of it happening is higher, now I know a certain dev is changing the code so they will be less likely to perform a hostile action if they know they are low on food preventing some of it but if the underline problem exits then they will just jump from town to town getting food and not siege. But it is a work in progress we will figure it out.
