Fixed an issue with gathered defenders failing to attack besiegers.
Is this about outside enemies not attacking besiegers, like I asked about here
I cannot get that uploader to work tonight but here's a .sav on googledrive.

It's later then the image but the behavior continues. Just press continue siege and watch them hang around, more will come and go too.
It's 1.4.3 beta + all hotfixes and no mods
Because I feel like the AI is still doing it.

Maybe I misunderstood and the hotfix isn't talking about that. Something I noticed is that at first a group will attack me as usual but after I defeat them, any more that show up just sit and watch. After the siege they lose interest and disperse and wont siege the fief until I go away from it.
Edit: Also I got a message that my companions did a tournament in the town we're besieging..... maybe that always happens.... I don't know.

Just to clarify, what is happening in your game is:

1- You start a siege with about 172-200 men.
2- The AI came with a supperior army and tried to break the siege.
3- You won the battle with 0 or pretty low losses (you are probably using tons of archers or Horse Archers).
4- The AI came again but did not attack for second time, right?

AI is working find in my game but I have not reproduced this scenario specifically. Are you sure that It is something about 1.4.3? I have the feeling that It is maybe happening since the beggining and nobody has been aware of this yet until now.

This is new and probably started after this patch on the 8/12, but I'm not sure if I sieged anything inbetween the patch on the 11th and this though.
Beta Hotfix (e1.4.3 - 12/08/20)
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when entering a settlement that you own.
  • Fixed an issue with the assault option not showing in some instances when joining an ongoing siege.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when entering a newly captured city with an army.
  • Parties led by companions are now able to join armies.
  • Fixed a crash when the AI army leader lifted a siege.
  • Fixed an error while loading modules on game startup that caused a crash.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred with newborn NPC having no civilian or battle equipment set.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when the player completed an arena practice fight after loading the game while the arena menu was active.
  • Fixed a crash where a minor faction and a bandit party attacked an enemy faction and the player decided to help it.

Usually when building trebs you fight a long sequence of battles as most the faction will eventually show up to fight you. I've been taking fiefs since 3/31, Them not attacking is definitely new.

Assaulting mountain bandit lair

Infantry still to dumb to ever block an arrow

Order them into a shield wall and have them follow you, they will follow you with their shields raised and attack when close enough.
 
I have a question, cause i dont quite understand: the new spear stuff from the vid (hooked and bracing) will be in this, 1.4.3 patch?

Nop, next one (1.5.0). Once the current beta 1.4.3 will go to stable, then the new beta 1.5.0 will be released.
 
I think SP will not receive much and the patch will be about MP tweaks. I just hope that TW do not turn Bannerlord into Warband combat.
 
I would only expect what they mentioned in their recent video.
That's a shame. I haven't really played since 1.4.1beta went live. And I told myself I wouldn't again till 1.5 reached the stable branch. Kinda disappointing if it isn't a major update

Just wait and see but no reason to expect more than whats been said. Be happily surprised if there is more, no need to be disappointed with progress.
 
I wonder why there are no mentions about new village scenes in 1.4.3? I've seen ate least 4 new scenes but not mentions about them in the patchnote.

It will be very disappointing If the new update is mostly for MP. We/I have waited far too long for this next update to be all about MP when SP is sorely lacking in content and depth. Honestly, who even plays MP?

The SP and MP teams are separate, I'd expect an average SP update with 1.5.0. I think the only reason 1.5.0 can be considered a big MP update is because MP has barely seen any updates during EA, so this is the culmination of much of their work the past few months.
