I don't know if its been mentioned already but in 1.4.2 beta, I am not seeing any actual relation changes with Lords after Kingdom decisions. I.e. I make a decision over who gets a fief which results in relation with <Luichan> decreasing but the relation score never changes. So the only way I have found to affect relation is spend 50 influence to support them, help them in battle or carry out a mission for them.

Yes I've noticed this as a ruler. There's no relationship change be it positive or negative from taking kingdom decisions.
IIRC, a dev said we should expect a 1.4.3 before 1.5.0.
Cool. Trying to anticipate whether or not it'll break my current campaign.

install your game on a big capacity HDD, SSD won't improve (not by a lot) your game performance. Btw your signature is interesting
Thanks, I tried both on hdd and sdd and I noticed really good improvements in overall and especially loading time on ssd, since there is a lot of loading either when speaking to lords/peasants/bandits or going in tavern/arena etc etc it really makes the game a lot more enjoyable for me I don't think I will go back to my hdd now

Okay, because I think the game will be much much larger in size in the future. Time to upgrade your SSD then ? xD

I think it had been reported already but I really hope they will fix soon the decrease relationship when an enemy party raid one of your own village and also the decrease relationship when a companion party raid an enemy village.

Yeah we need to set Clan rules for if this is allowed! And like wise it should be our choice if we lose relations with a lord when they raid us.... and of course some benefit from doing so. Maybe if it gets low enough you have new option like keep him in jail forever or nobody cares if you execute them
Right now it's just a lose lose.

I think definitely how one handles enemies could be expanded upon. Losing favor with their whole clan/kingdom is kind of harsh, maybe some sort of system where they can barter for their lives to repent, kind of like peace negotiations. If you have legitimate claims and they fail to pay then you can execute them for reduced penalties.

I have played 1.4.2 extensively and then some. I have 900hr of gametime. I have none of your problems. I found ways to play the game to get my desired results. If you don't like how things are going in your 1 campaign, try something new. This is a great game with multiple ways of playing it...

If you don't like Vlan constantly attacking you - do something about it. You probably aren't increasing your garrison, your security rating, etc. Or you could even go attack them. There are many reasons why they are attacking you.

If you don't like what your "master" is constantly doing stuff you don't like, do something about it ingame - leave it/start your own kingdom/join a different kingdom. It also sounds like your not on the newest patch of 1.4.2 or your counting the minor factions as kingdoms being at war (which they don't count, in my mind) - in my games in 1.4.2 the other kingdoms only seem to declare war on 1 "major" faction. As someone that likes creating his own kingdoms, I don't see an issue with hoarding all the fiefs, I do it, so why shouldn't the AI?

Don't know what to do to change/stop stuff from happening? Then think/look-up some videos/ask around.

Vlandians aren't attacking me, I'm attacking them, they rush to defend their city, but the problem is they do it way too many times and start up a new army in 2 days, that's the problem. I definitely am on the latest beta patch and I definitely am not counting minor factions as the large ones. I have lot of experience with Warband and I'm not new to the franchise, I have no use for protip videos and such. I know the ins and out of these games, having to switch factions just because the ruler AI is dumb is not a good deal. I want this character to stick with Battania, for example. What I can do about Vlandia attacking me while I'm sieging them is butcher them a thousand times or cancel the siege, those are 2 options, I wouldn't call this "multiple" levels of playing.

The issue with a ruler hoarding all the fiefs is that this is not realistic in the slightest, why would his vassals remain loyal if he takes ALL the spoils of war? This is not a realistic and deep/complex simulation of medieval society, this is a barebones game that is shallow in these aspects just as previous titles, I hope this will imrpove, otherwise this is just what Warband was to Mount&Blade, just a graphical improvement overall with some minor gameplay additions.

Yeah you have to seriously defeat the entire faction by yourself twice at least to take a town if you're building siege gear. Holding some prisoner helps but... not that much.
Honestly if you're vassal what's the point? Just grind lords for influence and let the AI do the sieges. If it's not near your other fiefs you won't get it anyways, even if you take it alone.
I don't like being a vassal because I can't get a good fief.
I don't like having vassals because they don't listen or do anything useful.
I don't like the AI making endless armies with no downtime after defeat.
I'll still take the whole map by myself but I DON'T LIKE IT!!!!!!

@Duh_TaleWorlds @mexxico Guys, could you just tell us simply when? Not „Wont be any patches today” but honestly „tomorrow”, „in 3 days” „in one week”, or „in two weeks”. I belive its pretty easy and would help us a lot. Will aprreciate that. Thanks

It seems we can”t expect even any answers, so what about your famous „communication” and other „blah blah blah” from advertisement?

Are you serious? It”s not funny anymore

Do your communication request to Community Managers. Not to devs. It's not developers job to answer you. They can't "simply" tell you when

Just remind yourself their activity here from April or May, and compare with actual. If posting on their own forum is so hard and tiring, then ok. Obviously they don’t need to bother players questions and expectations.

Just keep all this bullshiet about „great communication” for yourself then.

That's not a valid argument. Just because they had time previously doesn't necessarily mean that this is their duty and they have to see every message you post. If they have time and more importantly if they have "permission" to tell stuff, then they can. Otherwise, they can't.

I don't think anyone is claiming "Great communication" at this point anyway. I'm not sure how you got this impression.

In fact, that type of post just discourage them from keep posting. If the fact of being posting frequently will be use against them in the future (ppl complaining about a better comunication in the past) then it will be better for them to stay quiet.

No one is expecting from them to post here every single day, but telling us once a week „Hey, You need to wait one/two/three more weeks, we are working on xyz” is not so murderous job or it is?

You are still missing the point. Let me bullet point it for you
  • It's not their job.
  • They may not be allow to say anything about this.
  • It's not their job
  • There is already a guy getting paid for this communication-related stuff in the company
  • It's not their job
At the end it's not developers who are deciding patches/releases by saying "Hey let's release a patch, FallOfCabal is really want to see us release something".. "is not so murderous job" logic might work for a school project but it won't work for a company. You have NDA's, company policies and roles. It's not like they are seeing your comment, taking a sip from their whiskey in front of the fireplace with a cigar and giving an evil laugh. If they are not telling anything it's either because they are weirdly busy/don't know or simply they are not allowed to do so.
