It's twitter and the patch isn't out yet, literally can't talk about it all in that format. Again why are you salty about them communicating, if anything we should encourage this so they talk to us more about ****, maybe even about the beta version instead of stable. Also 90 people is not 90 armagan's and his wife, these are unique people that all have to be added to the equation and if you work in any business you know the more hands in the pot the more complicated things get and the harder it is to keep things uniform.

No, they said the next update won't have big changes.

Like i said under the hood, i consider refactoring to be big changes and good progress. Messy code makes progress take longer.

I only care about actual gameplay improvements or new features, and if they even need more time until something new happens then we will all be dead before the game will be finished.

Oh ****! That's all they meant, something already in the game that was just a UI change for some thing that was already in the game even before that.
People can just play 1.4.2 now they don't to be teased or excited about it going to stable. Only beta matters! Everyone should play beta and report all the problems all day everyday! Or install 100s of mods until the game breaks.

Honestly man it sounds like you are taking it too personal if you think they are mocking us? Again like i said the patch isn't actually released they are just teasing it to engage the community on social media (did they post it here? no, we know about it) and you know they will tell us about the things that have changed when the patch releases. Also you say no one cares and I just said I do, so you're gonna have to deal with that fact.

Did your mom buy the game for you or did you spend your own money on a game advertised and sold as early access.

No one tricked you into buying it. Take responsibility for your own decisions. You bought early access, or your mom did.

I said almost like. Although I do feel frustrated to see that one of the most fun title I played so far is drifting to mudhole with these strange decisions.
And if you turn back and look at the history you can see TW even featured things that they didn't include/implemented in the game. So it's extremely naive to think that they have something huge but they just choose to feature this extremely stupid detail.

Yeah them removing features is a sign that their original ideas weren't implementable and they had to make changes, this is no doubt some of the reason why the game has taken so long to get to EA, they are making a groundbreaking game that has no real competition or resource to go off of. No one said it was something you consider "huge", as you stated fixing code doesn't concern you. Them posting about 1 feature going to stable has no indication about what will be changed in the next beta iteration. All I was saying is why are people getting salty about a twitter post, that has nothing to do with the next beta update. This is the 1.4.2 Beta patch notes post not a new post made about the twitter post?

As a company, if you say that you will do refactoring and create a huge gap between your non-promised but PR material regular updates, and then if you share this in your official accounts, people will not give you a cookie because you manage to discover dropdowns are actually a thing in UI/UX.

My misunderstanding. I'm with you, the post is for a different crowd that doesn't care about refactoring and prob wants to see next UI/UX updates.

I have been modding games for 20 years. I know how long it takes to make three lines of code or adjust a UI.

^This 1000 times. Laissez-Faire! Ive said this a million times..Armagan should have just released the tools, rode off into the sunset (a.k.a. the bank) and let the modding community blast this game into the stratosphere.
