Beta Patch Notes e1.4.1

正在查看此主题的用户

the thing is they said they would bring the new beta this week but they still pushing out patches to fix the current beta...it feels like what he said..that they will not give us new beta this week either
The changes they are doing to the current beta are going to be in the new patch aswell, and since it can be implemented in the current patch without breaking anything they do it.
That being said, I do agree that TW still has problems in terms of communication and/or organization. They tweeted 2 weeks ago that there would be a patch coming "soon" and it didnt happen, now knowing it was because of holidays they had in Turkey, but they knew these holidays would take place anyway.

i am not a dev so for me it looks like they are taking to long for new content but it is a hard work i guess...that been said many players stoped playing bannerlord and waiting for the new beta...i am one of them...and i guess ppl losing interest the longer they wait

Hey guys, we just shared another hotfix for the beta branch. It includes the following:
  • Fixed an issue that caused several policies to be activated when the player is a mercenary and goes to the kingdom screen for the first time.
  • Disabled the "leave kingdom" button in the clan screen for player kings for the time being as it caused crashes after some time.
  • Reintroduced a minimum truce period of 20 days for AI kingdoms.
  • Fixed an issue that caused players to get stuck when they accepted a peace decision while in a siege event.

Thank you for the hotfix, but please hotfix the Weapon skills issue , lords with 270+ skills attack like anime characters and can't be beat without cheats. This is an issue that's been known instantly ever since you released the two handed perk patch, it's been well documented and mentioned many times and seems like a simple fix by tweaking some numbers, even if it isn't please work on it, tournaments are frustrating enough in the early game without the anime gods attacking at mach 2 speeds.

I am in the same position, and I agree that they should do constant updates with content so the playerbase stays. But they know that aswell for sure, so they are having some complications, which is understandable. But I still get the idea that they are disorganized, and that comes from before way back.

Agreed. I love these hot fixes even with the sacrifices of the mods I play with. But some issues that are voiced by the many here, (and seem like a not so difficult fix) seem to get a low priority.

What? Still not touching the ''new'' bugged weapon skills?? That's one fix that will help with literally everyone..

That issue does seem like low hanging fruit, and I imagine it will get addressed very soon.

The policy activations and war/peace behaviour are a higher priority though, as those problems basically cause people not to want to play the game past clan rank 2, which is 95% of the game. The weapon skill issue really only has a practical impact on the player in tournaments, which is 1% of the game. And the fix on weapon skill has a tight feedback loop which doesn't even require player testing in the beta branch - whereas the bigger issues DO need beta player scale testing and thus take longer to validate.

I expect once the critical problems with merc/vassal play are resolved, they will fix weapon skill speed and push 1.4.1 to main release.

High skill lords destroy everything in their way during battle too, which is most of what we can do now. I have seen a single lord kill more than a dozen of my men in a row during a siege. Literally filled the killfeed.

It has been more than 2 weeks, how soon is very soon for something so blatantly broken? People have looked into the code, and the problem seems to be a single misplaced decimal point (well 2 of them).

Well I guess I'm done talking about this. Whatever.

I hate to admit it but once the shock wore off I really enjoy this bug. It's like a boss fight out of nowhere and I still laugh watching them go nuts.

Yup, figthing Lords in tournaments is like going against Goku from DBZ. My Shield was destroyed in like 1 min

The formation bug wants to talk to you.

You don't kill them yourself while they're slogging around in formation? You actually let them reach your army?
ooooh ..... that's bad

Did anyone already played until mid/late game with the latest hotfix? If so, is it now better or still only randoms wars forever with 20 days of truce in between?

I've been testing. Random war declarations and hate everywhere are still there but now you can play the game. Tribute + truce feels a powerful mechanic. Once the truce period ends another war gets declared but you use tour influence + money to stop it to continue growing your empire. Each truce requires at least 100 influence plus all the influence needed to override your stupid vassals hungry for war, so even you can manage the situation it is not free at all.

The mechanic feels a bit uninmersive because the wars still feel random with no Casus Belli or reasons behind them. In my game my kingdom faces between 4 and 7 wars. I need to sign truce with Vlandia, Western Empire and Kuzhait as they are really powerfull kingdoms capable of conquering my 6 towns in 2 game weeks. So I spend my resources in freezing those wars while enjoy playing and try (no success by now) to get more vassals.

By the time a get some more help in my kingdom my influence costs will rise so maybe there will come a day when I won't be able to have these 3 simultaneous truces.

There is still a big problem with war declarations. I am an honorable king, never raided, I treat well my friends and better my enemies, only betrayed once and it seems everybody wants war on me...

By the way to grow my kingdom I need money, lots of money, LOTS, looking at how much fills the agreement bar i will need from 1 to 3 millions per vassal. I think if I get to improve relations above 50 it could be easier to handle but it is not an easy task as I need to help lords against bandits, make expensive gifts and fight crime in their towns or the rarely event when a Lord has a quest for you. I feel like I have to play at least 20 hours grinding relationship to finally have a chance to grow my kingdom. At least it is possible thanks to truce mechanic.

I'm overall satisfied with this solution until we have a more polished system.

Any chance we could get a brief update on how the next release is progressing? When we might see it and what we might expect to be in it?

It’s hard to say… I’m on day 622 on my campaign and right now we still at war with the same 4 factions that we were when I joined the Khuzait (it was 3 at the time, but when I joined they immediately declare war on Sturgia, this was before the Monday hotfix, so no sure if this is still happening). What I realized is that none of the clans tried to pull any type of policy in all my campaign (only the fief designation), except for the leader who tries 2 policies around day 300 and 500. About that, the clan leader has 1500 influence while the second best has just 150. So they may be afraid of Monchug. The support to declare peace is 10% for 2 of the factions and 45% for the 2 almost instinct factions (they only have the ruler clan at this point). The only time I tried they rejected my propose for peace receiving almost 1000 tribute per day, so not sure what they are expecting for declare peace. So basically: I don’t know! I couldn’t pull a single peace on all my campaign.

I started a new character for this hotfix, played neutral till I was in the middle of tier 1 clan progression, decided to be a mercenary for the southern empire, joined them, 2 seconds later: Vlandia, Sturgia, Battania and Northern empire decided they want some of that empress butt.

Not fun
