If you download those two files and use something like SourceGear's DiffMerge (Or any textual diff program) you can get a pretty good sense of the changes they made.

ya the send troops to battle is broken
my cav keeps commenting suicide when they see a looter
for some reason looters really like killing tier 6 unit archers that they will never ever reach .....
No way this was intended if it was then the game is bad....

and no i dont like loading battle to hunt 5-10 looters with 500 man

my favorite tournament weapon i never take a hit and kill teams 1v4 fully with it... i think its you bro

do you cheese the fights though?
do you circle the enemy counter clockwise so they cant block you?
that would work for a sword not spear
spear is about distance if you get to close they cant attack if you get too far they cant attack if u stand in between u can attack sometimes moving forward is how you block it just needs getting used to i assume
sword fights u move left and right to circle them
spear u move forward and backward
Do share please the "how to fight with spear and shield for dummies" for single player.
When dismounted my chances of survival are about nil.
here is a trick projectile speed matters when you attack once the attack fully done basicly you ve no speed left
a horse moving fast toward you=speed
you can attack with a spear too early and still do full damage to cav
you can hit them before they ever get a chance to hit you

all my spear fights end with me just poking their faces full of holes because they dont know how to block when you attack from a couple of paces away
also if you shield bash them and step to the side you can usually get a hit in before they recover but that feels like cheesing too

With thrusting attacks you should penetrate by moving forward into it. You have to commit the attack. If you stand still and thrust, it might not penetrate, especially if enemy has thick armor. Also a lot easier to aim in first person.
Thanks for the Spear tips, I will try today if I can get it to work for me. I have been using the two Menavlions Spears so far, because I can swing them if I panic and when I forget to switch weapons for siege, can even use them from the ladders as 2h while staying out of range.
