[Beta 1.4.0] Still can't assign MY towns to someone else

I'm the king - why can't I assign my own towns to someone else? Donate them to restructure my kingdom? I understand that claiming new fiefs is a political thing. But donating my own belongings? I can't even start a voting. I have less rights then my vassals regarding this, it's ridiculous.

I mean, technically vassals shouldn't be able to start a vote to give a ruling clans fiefs to someone else, either. So you should have the same amount of rights as them when it comes to your own fiefs. There is a mod for that called Keep Own Fief on Nexus. It allows you to reassign a fief to any vassal after it is taken.

That works, too. But Keep Own Fief basically lets you enter a fief and give it away instead of tracking down a vassal/vassal clan member to talk to. Just my personal play preference.

Yeah, it isn't real clear on that. It has two times when you can do this: when you first capture a fief and later when you enter the city. The mod description focuses on the first part. I can't quite test it because I can't load any saves since the last update but I'm fairly certain there is an option in the fief menu to change owner but I can't remember exactly where.

So I tested this mod. You can assign a fief to whoever you want once you capture it, but you can not donate existing fiefs to your vassal clans. So this is not what I was looking for. The other mod makes it possible, but you have to visit a member of the clan.

There are many examples for donations in medieval times. I would expect this feature in the native game if you are the king. As a vassal you should receive a bonus if you vote to give a fief to a good friend or a companion. But you have to do the voting.

Hello, sorry for the late reply. We have fixed a considerable amount of the problems we have encountered so far and improved the game performance with the multiple patches we have released. Please make sure that your game, your drivers, and OS are up to date and the game has necessary permissions over your security software. Please let us know if the problem persists after completing these steps and verifying the integrity of the game files through Steam.

Playing Bannerlord again after a major break. Still can't gift fiefs as a king. I'm disappointed and no, I can't reach the trade skill in time to gift it this way. Why is there still no option to do whatever I want as a king?

Example:

- My vassals take a town after proposing war (I agreed)
- Town becomes my property although I did not contribute to the fight
- No time and no troops to build a garrison. I DON'T WANT THIS TOWN.
