Companions first one was 3300 dinars, and second Echa the Alone wanted 11,800 to join! Also trading cant sell stacks anymore it lowers the price as you go, so selling 10 oils for 150 you dont get 1500 you get like 1200 or so, maybe the first 2 at 150 then it starts lowering the price to like its adjusting for market? These are first problems I have had since EA day but I still love this game!

No bug.
The new calculation for companion prices seems to take into account their level and possibly their equipment. That northern dude with the chainmail on is always like 17k.

Thanks I just found a third, a rogue and he was only 2400. Seems like the prices are higher. On trade though I used to be able to sell a whole stack for the buying price say 100 items at 100 now you cant! Not game breaking but definitely changes trading alot!

Trade Goods lowering in price with each item you sell is not new to the 1.1 beta.
I didnt mean with each item you sold but it changes the price of stack of goods, say if you sold 100 items at 100 you would expect 10,000 gold, but it adjusts the price on that one transaction! Does that make sense or am I explaining it wrong. Not game breaking but definitely changes the way I look at trading!

Do you mean that you used to be able to circumvent the price dropping with each item sold by selling them all at once?

That's what it used to be! at least I think it was, maybe I just never noticed but I'm pretty sure i would of since I noticed it right away this time. As long as you sold in a stack say 100 items you would get the quoted price say 100, but if you sold 5 at a time the price would adjust, now it adjusts accordingly during the stack sale.

Only in cities and it goes both ways buying and selling, but not in villages no price drop.... sweet going to be seeing alot more villages I think lol

i think they added bunch of gear on them and since prices on a lot of gear is stupidly high, price for companions came up. i wish they came in a bloody shirt as paying 3-4k for a companion at the start of the game is just stupid.
