best way of speeding up m&b, increasing FPS?

AFAIK:
Ragdolls, AI, and, special effects like dust and smoke are dependant on your CPU.
Playing M&B with full graphics and the highest resolution doesn't take more than 800MB RAM on this computer, so 2GBs of RAM should be enough to play with everything maxed.
Everything else is dependant on your graphics card, a 1GB VidMem card should be more than enough to run everything on max.

So if you find your game slowing down during a specific playing type, adjust your options accordingly.

If you don't have a decent graphics card, changing from DX9 to DX7 will help loads, but the graphics will take a big hit.

well...you can increase your RAM by using a useless USB or flashdrive..same thing...

just go to  control panel, system, advanced tab, performance settings, advanced tab, and then at the bottom click change and select
your USB as a virtual memory. you can then click apply and restart your computer. Open MB and poof you have like +10 FPS

really? SWEET. definatley gunna do that. but will your computer explode or something if you remove the flash drive after that

no your computer will not explode....but i have heard that your flash drive will deteriorate over time.

thats why you are supposed to use a old USB..
