2-handers are awesome, but require more aggressive tendencies, hence the so-called spam.  It works, as Styo saw the other day when I was raising my Glaive in the air with 5 or so dead enemies on the ground around me! 

Oh, and von Spamler made his way to the top of a European server...20 and 3 Swad vs Nords, I love the Heavy Bastard Sword .

Your joke has made me consider trying to get a personal shield with a bastard sword on one half and a can of spam on the other half   

As for a serious coat of arms for the shield, perhaps a clenched steel gauntlet reaching skyward out of a pile of gold (and a single HOBOCHEESE wheel within the pile similar to the cover of a CHEEZ-IT box )
