Best MP moments?

For me, it was on some Ruins map (not sure which).

I was a Swadian Crossbowman, and I had the Heavy Crossbow and had positioned myself on a half destroyed wall.

I was taking potshots at enemy archers, and they were all taking pot shots at me, from across the map.

This one chick who I had been having archer duels with for several games, was behind a wall but still able to see over and shoot over it.

I saw a tiny little speck, and shot a bolt, and it zeroed in and hit her right in the head; netting me an instant kill.

The only other thing I can really think of is fighting in the one Sultante castle (not sure which) and fighting rooftop to rooftop with other archers, while also scoring kills on the haphazard infantry and horsemen that were stuck in the narrow streets.

Well since I suck, I was playing a crossbow dude as well.

I was on the castle walls attempting to pick off some Nords who had entered the grounds and were trying to take the flag. Suddenly I heard the whoosh of a bolt and a gargling grunt. I spin around and a Huscarl with a giant axe falls dead right next to me. And behind him, another of my cowardly crossbow-wielding comrades. It was like that generic movie scene where one of the heroes is a split second from certain death.

my favourite moment was when my team was getting stomped in the plains by the khergits. They were all calvalry and we were mostly footmen. They were pretty much raping our team.

3 of us stood firm with spears out. we took out a few calvalry that charged us until we were left isolated by ourselves. All of a sudden all the cavalry focused on us. it all happend so fast, they charge from every direction and we managed to take down 8 riders and horses before succumbing to archer fire.

nothing more satisfying than impaling a dismounted rider before he can recover

Being stuck in the open in Ruins on a Battle server, and being surrounded by five or so infantry and two or three cavalry - thinking this is a bad place to be, I backed off into the shelter of some nearby ruins.

At least one of the horsemen dismounted, and all of the infantry followed me in.

I backed myself into a corner (I'd managed to loot a Huscarl shield from one of my dead teammates which is what kept me alive) and waited for my chance - then started spinning and blocking, cutting from man to man and causing them to hit each other in the process.

One fell, the the other, and the third... then the others started to back off. I knew there was a crossbowman outside trying to snipe me, and one other guy in the Ruins, waiting behind the wall, so I waited a short while, until the bowman made his move. He came around the corner, I dodged the crossbow, and killed the other guy in the ruins to his right, I was about to cut down the crossbowman who still had his bow out, when the third guy in the Ruins, whom I did not know about, killed me with an overhead chop he was just waiting to release.

Best MP moments were when me and some clan mates (kimbo and Wookie) were in the middle building on map port assault. Me and wookie were on the 2nd lvl with our bows out while kimbo was on the bottom level getting ready for the swarm of KoS members charging through the door. As soon as the first few KoS members were seen me and wookie started firing arrows down and kimbo started swinging and jumping around the room killing people here and there.

Ten seconds later there were about eight dead bodies laying around kimbo.

It was an epic sight.

VS a bunch of "snipers". I don't care if people say those who play with ranged weapons suck, these guys didn't. Was playing a mounted unit. Charged in at full speed I got a salve of arrows in every part of my body. Shield, horse, all gone. 2 seconds later a guy following me got executed in the same way, almost, he took the first arrow in the kisser, the rest just hit the ground around his corpse instantly one after another. It was like a sniper firing squad. I started laughing and couldn't stop. Oh yeah, and I never saw where they were.

That's what I do.

I've started becoming a "sniper" sort of with the crossbow. I fire from one location for a while, usually netting a few kills then I move away when people aren't looking and take them from the side.

I'm getting a lot more accurate too, it's great.

Especially in the Siege maps when you can spend a few minutes sneaking behind enemy lines to snipe them from behind.

Ive had some good "rambo" mp moments but i think my favourite was a "team work" moment on a battle server.

It was Nords vs Vaegirs I think playing Field by River, Battle Mode (i was playing nord, as always ><)

It'd been a hard fight, nords and vaegirs dropping left and right.

Id just dispatched another and crossed the stone bridge when i "tabbed" to see that there were 2 nords left and 3 vaegirs.

The other nord was waiting for me on the other end of the bridge and, for whatever reason the last 3 vaegir were standing in a line further down the field. - maybe they'd just killed some1.

There were 2 footmen (possibly one of them an archer with no arrows left) and 1 horseman.

They spotted us and the horseman charged, followed by the other vaegir. I pulled my last throwing axe and WAP right into the horseman's torso.

He went down without a sound.

Then it was 2 1v1 duels but my fellow disengaged his opponent and we cut down the guy i was facing.

Another spit roast and the day was ours!

When some guy on castle 1 repeatedly opened the gate, to the point where I told my team to wait at the gate for it to open. The idiot open the gate with us standing in full view of it letting us winning the round in about 50 seconds. Not so much talented as just really funny.

The best moment for me was when I killed 32 enemies, but I died only 2 times. I was a Vaegir archer shoting from one of the wall's towers in castle 4. This day I was very, very lucky, I made a lot of head shots

Good moments of teamwork are better than all else - coming from behind on a Battle server simply by having a group of randoms learn how to support each other is fantastic.

Likewise saving some teammate's life by skewering that charging horseman at the last instance, or barreling in to even up the odds in a 3 vs 1 fight is a wonderful feeling.

Somehow managing to get a fluke headshot from the other side of the map is always good

Basically, Longbow vs Siege Crossbow. I had the crossbow, so we were basically flinging arrows and bolts against each other. Result? Headshots against each other. I was hit first and died first. What I iterated: "Fu-YES!". A similar thing again happened, but the other guy headshotted me and my bolt hits his body.

Again, Longbow (Maybe warbow this time) vs Siege crossbow, with me as the crossbow still. It was in a siege and I was on the attacking team. He's on the ramparts, shooting his bow at me, at the same time Im trying to kill him. It's a pretty damn far range, as well, where he had the advantage due to the bow. I basically just blindly aim and fire, while one arrow nearly misses my head. Next thing I know, I get a headshot kill.

I had a pike and some guy with a horse is willfully trying to avoid me. At one point, he jumps over me and I basically lance the pike overhead, killing him. I thought I had missed.

This happens often: Point blank crossbow kills around a corner. I love every time it is successful.
This also happens often:
Enemy: Nords with Long axes all trying to kill me as I'm alone.
Me: I have a Bardiche, Glaive, or Bastard Sword.
Result: Usually 3 or more dead Nords.
Why: Usually, out-arc, out-range, or in the case of the bastardsword, out-speed.

But the best of them all?
When good archers save your butt from dying. Usually happens when I already got hit and in that brief stun animation, and the guy trying to kill me is in the chambering attack position. Another was when a horseman was just about to lance me through.

I love being "Rambo" at times. But nothing is more fulfilling than helping out a "weaker" teammate in trouble. Yes even if it means to hit an enemy in the back.

Best moment this week. Holding off at least 10 Vaegirs alone as a Nord in a narrow street, killing at 6 of them until Nord reinforcements arrived.
Worst moment: 3 vs 17 kill/death ratio just after a round where I did a 35 vs 8 kill/death ratio.

Just the beta for me, I still really enjoy warband but the beta was just so good, especially when they introduced new things such as FF and the godsend of 1000 default gold  . Fight and Destroy matches were great aswell then, all organised and very fun, its a shame people dont play it as much
