Best C7?

Now, these are really interesting facts.
I do not use Slaver Chiefs except in the beginning of the game. I never thought of them as durable, reliable and elite troops but in fact they seem they are quite useful.
The most interesting part is their usefulness in the sieges. I will definitely recruit and use some from now on.

Well defense against 800 Swadians could be possible. Afterall they are Swadians

Okay, but what about the mercenaries in the armies? =p

In fact, during the siege, I originally had 30 Chiefs and a hundred of Crushers (IIRC the name, it was the tier before Chief). All the Crushers got, well, crushed but the Chiefs were just like "Oh I guess I'll swing my mace then."

So that isn't even nearly 15 slavers against 800 swadians?

It was 3 months ago >.>

Try it yourself!

Does any cavalry unit use 2h weapon like sword or axe? How do they behave when riding can u do side slash with 2h or can you make just stabs?

Beating big armies isn't that hard, though it really on their composition. If there are 300 t1 recruits, 200 t2-3 recruits, 200 caravan guards it's very easy. If there is 30+ T7 units, lot of T6 and T5 units...well, ****!

I will try to get some slaver chiefs, but what's the best way to get them?

OOC: Khergits, my currently enemy, everytime attack my castle, but is ever the same castle, to be exactly Asagun Castle, what is located in the end of the steppe, and i'm in war against nords also, so is difficult to do 2 things at same time( i don't need to creat other thread, and if you can answer, please do it. )

Get some Manhunters and train them. I've reached my current numbers in like 2 weeks. Or one week? I don't remember.

:???: you didn't understand me. I'm talking what is the best way to get manhunters..

Yeah, i'm searching, but i don't have much time, two wars, castles under siege, **** liege..

There are generally two ways, either from bandits or as prisoners from lords who defeated bandits. Note that the second one only works if you already have prisoner-hunting force.

Smargoos 说:
Or basicly you could try to find manhunters fighting bandits and side with bandits
Does this choice lower your honour?
And so, what benefits do you get by increasing your relations with Manhunters?

Nothing but you get something from being friends with bandits. If I remember correctly they don't attack you anymore.

I don't know much about honour drop or relation benefits concerning slaver hunting. However, collecting them for your army is made easier with some farctor i've noticed:
- with your main hero level increased the bandits gangs become bigger and more likely owerwelm slavehunting parties. This increases probability of you running into a gang with some manhunters captured, so boosting up personal level helps.
- the manhunters behave more agreesively in your presense and attack bandit gangs bigger in size then their own. I assume they react on them fleeing from you and start chasing the fleeing opponent. This is how you may "provoke" them into begining the fight and wait for them to lose and get captured. You might want to increase spead of map battles in mod options (available via camp).
- also, if you come across fight of manhunters and bandits you can try luring more bandit parties closer to this spot. This works well if you party is small in number. Get in sight with some roaming bandits and retreat in direction of battle. This works better with map combat speed set to low.

Is it from level? I thought it was from how many days you have played.

Well basically, the more days you travell, the higher lvl you become - so you might put it this way too. However, bandit parties' size depent on your hero lvl in strictly direct way. So if you want to manipulate with their size e.i. to increase/reduce threat on the roads, you may want to pick respective line of lvl boosting.

When I cheated in level 2038 there were like 2000 bandits attacking a village.
