Really??  When I was looking at the Ivory arrows the + stat was not as good as the arrows that I was currently using.

Not right now. The team forgot about them when changing the crossbow/bow damage system.
At the moment tempered steel or masterwork bodkin arrows are the best you can go for.
(have to start a .58 game yet, but thats what The Mercenary said in a post some days ago. Which is still on the first page...)

Ok....That is good because I thought that maybe something was wrong with my install then but that is fine.  I will wait for a new version that has the stats fixed.

Enhanced steel arrows.... I think there is one with 27 damage. Terrible!

the arrow damage tipe does not matter (bug). only the bow matters. I tested this editing the arrow to be blunt.
so best arrows are the ones with 35 damage and large pack

hmm it's okay. Even without damage bonus the bows are strong enough. The best Khergit Teak Bow requiring power draw 9 can pierce even the black armour......

What's the requirement for a Masterwork Yew War Bow? It's *the* most powerful bow in the game. Although the Teak Khergit Bow and the Yew Longbow come close, and Ash bows are the best balanced.

Masterwork Ivory shouldn't do as much damage if I remember correctly. The accuracy more than makes up for it, in my mind.

well it didn't do quite as much damage even in .57; 42dmg vs 45, but its 99 accuracy vs 70 made it a very worthwhile damage tradeoff.

What about barbed arrows with 36 damage? I'm probably missing something behind the archery system. Do all arrows pierce?

I've been using a Royal Ashwood Bow...I think and Steel tipped arrows, does about 50 damage on average with nice accuracy.  But surely anything is fine s`long as you have a decent power draw and get headshots? :3

Frankly I'm glad the Ivory stuff isn't good at the moment, I hate the skins.  They go with nothing!
