best arms and weapons...

Hi guys i'm looking fo the best armor and arms.
I prefer slashing weapons since i suck at thrusting...
So what are the best weapons im using a elite scimitar right now is that right?
And im wearing that plate armor with the black tabbard i forgot the name....

I personally prefere the "Bastard Sword", at the "Masterwork" level it's like you fight against enemies armed with branches ) .

balanced elite scimitar;
any balanced bastard sword (gotta watch out with these, tho, they can thrust);
heavy morning star (slow but devastating, can be used with shield);
heavy voulge (long and deadly choppy polearm, but with thrusting attack too);
any hafted blade, preferably balanced (can swing from horseback, but has thrust);
heavy iron mace (the two-handed one; longest, lightest and fastest weapon that can crush through blocks; has thrusting attack).

For armor it really depends on what you want to get. If you don't care about encumbrance and just need protection, lordly plate is your goal. Along with lordly winged great helmet, lordly gauntlets and lordly plate boots (what you're wearing right now is probably coat of plates, which comes close).
