Resolved Besiegers listed as defenders

Summary: I'm about starting the siege, the parties in my army except my hero are listed defenders in this menu. It's very misleading. I remember giving up sieges because in an empire vs empire situation the names are similar, and I cannot remember who is who. But this time my companion was listed and his status is obvious.
I have the save file if needed but I don't find the upload link.
They fought on my side in the siege, no problem with that.

Second phase
I released 2 parties from my army while being in the besieging decision menu. It seems they really became defenders. Or at least they cannot leave the castle.
I saved the game at this point and can upload if you want it.
