NVIDIA SHIELD

Frequently Asked Questions:-

Q: What kind of support does this feature for the NVIDIA SHIELD?
A: Optimization to run at a high framerate during gameplay and full gamepad support for all aspects of the game.

Q: What is the significance of Mount&Blade Warband being available on Tegra 4?
A: This is the first non-PC version of any Mount&Blade game!

Q: Does this support all the features of the Native PC version?
A: Yes, this is Mount&Blade Warband as you know it from the PC.

Q: How do the gamepad controls work for combat?
A: It's with a similar logic to the PC. You look in the direction you want to attack or block by using the right stick instead of the mouse.

Q: How was such a complex and deep game as Mount&Blade Warband made playable on a mobile device?
A: The power of Tegra 4 enabled us to develop for the mobile platform. Prior to its release we simply couldn't imagine how a full Mount&Blade game would be viable for mobile. We feel that players will really enjoy the experience of having Mount&Blade in their hands!

Q: What is the appeal for gamers of the Tegra 4 version?
A: This gives gamers the unique opportunity to play Mount&Blade away from their PC. You can now take sandbox kingdom conquering action gameplay wherever you go!

Just my opinion

Not sure if the formations one is really applicable. This came about because I asked for someone to clean up the ridiculous amount of unnecessary stickies in the Guildhall, so he turned 4 stickies into 1

Gotcha, I have many more guides, that  I will release later on that are archived from POM forums. I just added the formations one because many new clans are created every week, and for beginners its a good read up.

Maybe he should delete our nonsense conversations and just leave the links

Hi, I am reading the guides here but can find no answers to the following (pretty fundamental) questions anywhere! If anyone has a moment to help I would be really grateful.

I am am playing mount and blade warband single player on normal difficulty and want to know:

1. What are the actual benefits of marrying as a male (my character is on the point of marriage but I cant see many pluses apart from good relations with her brother or something if you are lucky).

2. What does the "troop order" in the party menu actually do? I searched far and wide but only managed to find one comment saying that you should put cavalry at the top of it to win battles more easily.

3. And above all: What is the best way to set up your troop in your average battle? And adding to that- what is the best way to control them? I find myself getting my fingers in a muddle trying to press "1" followed by F1 and don't really get it. I often line up my infantry to shield my archers and then once the armies meet just charge everyone in as I don't have time to control them by then.

Well that is all for now.

The main use for spouses as a male character is to increase your influence in their family, gain legitimacy should you ever decide to contest the throne yourself and to throw feasts at your castle/town.

Troop order determines the order that your units will spawn, the ones at the top spawn first, the ones on the bottom last. If you're unable to take all your troops into battle at once it's important, if your party size is small or you've used the Battle Size Changer to increase the size of battles over the default it's only really useful for determining the starting positions (left to right).

As for battle tactics, the simplest go to tactic is to place your archers on a hill, your infantry in front of them and your cavalry to the side ready to charge into the flank. However different tactics work better on different factions/armies so it's best to experiment till you find methods that work the best for your playstyle/opponents. Personally I prefer to place my archers to the side of my infantry, if you do it right the enemy will still focus on your infantry but your archers will have a clear line of fire into their flank.
