If so you should check the Warband support forum https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/board,164.0.html. Also try a full reinstall (or verify cache if you use Steam).

--> remember that VC also requires the latest Warband download (two different things) if you are not using GOG/Steam

the main thingy you are missing is a GPU (graphics card), as your laptop only has a integraded (not really ideal for games) 530 (which is not officially supported by VC). It doesn't mean you can't play Warband or the DLC, but you won't be able to play on high graphics.

Remember to add your rgl_log.txt (found on your game folder) and your Windows crash log

What about the game crashing as soon as the Taleworlds movie plays?  I had no problems playing this on my old laptop, but now that I have a much better, more powerful new laptop, I am having issues getting the game to even load.  I've tried delete/reinstall, have 16GB SDRAM and plenty of power compared to my older laptop.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

unrelated issues. Corrupted savegame will crash a game only if you try to load it (after the game intro movie, choosing it from the main menu). See my post above for some suggestions on what to do next.

Thank you for all that.I have tried Native and VC and it crashes at the same point on each module and I am not savy enough to implement a mod.  I was able to play it on my previous laptop, which was WAY less spec than the one I am currently having issues with (my new Lattitude 5570).
I've done the full delete/reinstall with deleting the folders and no luck.  I feel like it is a setting that I am missing or something...?!?! I've also made sure that Steam isn't be run in "compatibility mode."  I have 16GB RAM on this new laptop and I seem to remember having to change something in regards to the RAM on my previous laptop...could this have anything to do with it??

If you have not loaded up another save after it, try renaming the backup save and try that.
Also you will need you rgl log, which is located in your warband installation folder. Put the logs in a spoiler tag to save space.

2) Corrupted files are gone. What you can do is use a backup (older save). If you are not playing on auto-save you can use the automatic backup (last_savegame) from your saves folder, just rename it and load that one in the game

Corrupted files are the ones with the data inside all messed up. Warband doesn't have a way to recover them.

3) Is a good idea to be specific about what game you are talking about. Warband Native? Viking Conquest DLC? Which version? And are you using cheats/tweaks or a vanilla version?

4) Your rgl_log.txt is located on your game folder

5) To report a bug you should create a new thread

6) Use the spoiler tag when posting your files
my rgl_log.txt goes here, my rgl_config.txt, etc

7) When doing your report you should try to explain what happened before your game got corrupted, as that could be a clue for the devs to investigate (in case it is not a random event like a game crash)

I already put my rgl_log.txt in my first post, is war band native, i don't use cheats or mods, and my last_savegame isn't the same one because after i see i got the corrupted file i create another character, so the last_savegame isn't the one i need, so i think i would never recover it?

that is yours rgl_CONFIG.txt, not the rgl_log.txt (different things)

this part of the forum is only for VC (DLC), for Warband you need to visit https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/board,164.0.html. TW handles Warband, while BWStudios handles VC.

Corrupted files are corrupted, no way to recover them. What you can do is use things like cheats to quick recreate your campaign (conquer places, get money and items, XP, etc). If you don't know how you can visit the general Warband forum for help on that

Did you listen the previous scene music all the time or in specific situations? Share them if so.
Does the music keep playing long time or just for some seconds?
