I'm not sure it's going to be that bad though. While we may have many crops that are no longer viable, there are many other plants that do not require pollination. It may utterly destroy societies that rely on agriculture, IE, some of those in the third world- especially the nations that rely on cocoa farming. If the bees die, expect the price of chocolate to sky rocket.

What about all the animals that rely on fruits, etc? If most of the fruit goes bye bye then so do the animals that rely on it. Then what happens to the animals that rely on the animals that rely on fruit? They die too. It will get to use eventually.

So from what I've heard, the Africanized strain of bees, or killer bees have been so far resistant to the various diseases and parasites that have been plaguing the native and domestic species.

... So that means all the bees are at risk of dying off, and the insect kingdom's psychotic kamikaze pilots are going to take their place...
