Glad the rules of voting only came out on Wednesday when captains have been voting since the 5th of January. It's also strange how people are forced to sign-up before they even know what they're signing up to but are forced to if they want to actually have a vote in this poll. That's extremely strange knowing that you might be trying to get numbers by forcing teams to sign-up to a potential format they don't want to participate in (it'll also be difficult for admins since teams would drop out), this REALLY needs to be rethought. Why didn't you allow clans that played in the previous beast and all new sign-ups to allow voting from the start?
Most clan leaders simply wont look at this thread again because they thought they already voted fairly, but instead most of them haven't because there hasn't been any instructions on how to do it. It's also strange how the poll ends on the 25th and yet the sign-ups end on the 28th? So people who usually solidify their rosters towards the end of the sign-ups are unable to vote? Even though they're within the deadline?
Lastly, you keep pushing the no class limits to the point you're having to mention about the game badges again, in an attempt to sway people - stay impartial.
Circumstances can change. Advocating for rule changes is perfectly fine. It'd be an issue if they scrapped the poll and imposed the change anyway, however that is explicitly not the case and hence perfectly acceptable behaviour on the administrative end of things.
Ending the votes a mere three days in advance
Teams can withdraw after the poll is through and roster updates are flexible at any time, since players have to be play-tagged before they are ineligible for any other squad. Also you don't form a team last minute, that's just bad preparation.
Allowing votes from the previous BEAST is pretty much standard, I've got 3 DR squads in the race that were properly counted before the whole badge/restriction debate was a thing.
Lastly this stuff should remain in the suggestion thread so that the vote threads remain orderly.
