Bear Force II Event
Greetings friends, it is my pleasure to finally invite you to quite possibly the last big event on Star Wars: Bear Force II. Bannerlord's release is nearly upon us, and we would like to gather around everyone that stuck with us for the past seven(7!) years for one final charge, as well as give all those who haven't the chance to try the mod out. Below are the event rules and signups, I hope we will have a full server and a fitting end to an era that marked our Warband days.​

Rules
  • The event will consist of two Battle maps. On each map there will be two rounds played, followed by a side swap for a total of four rounds on each map.
  • All clan leaders are required to attend the officer meeting 30 minutes prior to the event in order to ensure that everything will go smoothly.
  • Every clan can take a maximum of one Jedi/Sith troop.
  • Officers are required to go the designated Officer classes for the factions(Officer on Empire/Rebels, ARC Trooper on Republic)
  • Each team will have one clan performing the role of jet troopers with a maximum squad size of 8 jets. Jet troopers will not be available for other clans.
  • 1 specialist troop is allowed per every 5 people in your clan. Specialist troops are:
    • Sniper classes
    • Commando troop classes that have enhanced armour and close quarters capabilities.
    • Heavy troop classes/B2 Battle droids, that carry explosives and light or heavy machine guns.
  • There are no rules on formations or spacing you wish to use. Keep in mind that due to the nature of the mod - having players keep individual spacing and cover is better than rigid formations.
  • Public/Solo players can sign up as part of the 'public host'. Solo players must join the Discord voice chat in our mod Discord, and work together with their assigned squad leader.

Mod Tips & Tricks

  • There are many different weapon types, and their use is situational. The standard rifle is the best all-round weapon, but consider equipping some people with SMGs, Carbines or other weapons for more versatility.
  • Use the colour system! The mod has colours that apply to all armours instead of banners. You can give your units distinguishable colours for better organisation.
  • Jedi/Sith are not invincible and can be easily taken down with the use of explosives and teamwork. Your Jedi/Sith is best used as a support weapon for infantry pushes.
  • Being properly spaced out and using cover will significantly improve your survival rates.
  • Use machine guns as anti-air protection from jets.
  • Use camo armours when available.
  • Signal grenades and smoke grenades are great to mark and signalise stuff for your teammates as well as offer concealment while moving.
  • Attacking is often easier than defending. Take the initiative, pin down your enemies using firepower and try to flank with the rest of your squad.

Also, it goes without saying that the event might have to change time/date or be moved altogether depending on whether TaleWorlds decides to fix the masterserver issues these days. I'll keep everyone in touch regarding any changes.

Thanks for all the signups friends, looking like we'll be at least 150+, a fitting end event for the mod. Let's just hope the masterserver decides to work.


Rule change:
- Medics won't be considered specialists, meaning you can take as many as you need. For all the new players to the mod, medics have a limited amount of packs that can heal player health or regenerate personal shields(every player has a 0-100% shield HP that has to be broken before damage can be dealth. It can also regenerate very slowly.)

And a small announcement that we'll roll out a small balance and stability patch today or tomorrow, if you're subscribed to the mod on Steam Workshop it'll be a tiny update.
