How come? I thought it was quite a well made trailer.

I don't reckon the game will be great, though, nor do I think it's gonna be particularly realistic. And I probably won't buy it!

The whole "cool war fast moving supermobile infantry attacks exploding planes ominous big enemy zeppelin" just doesn't fit to ww1 tech and trench warfare, it feels completely dissonant.

I really doubt they are going realism. Meaning I sincerely doubt it's (proper) ww1 tech and trench warfare. 

They'll be going to make WW1 "cool" and "trendy". It'll paint a picture of WW1 just like lots of games in the past painted WW2.

But most people don't really care, unfortunately.. How can the trailer feel dissonant if WW1 tech and trench warfare isn't what they are going for? I mean, it's dissonant with the reality, but this is escapism, dooooooooooood!

This is some cool alternative reality, so it needs a fitting trailer! It's about as historical as Chivalry!

And I suppose awaiting the Russians, Austrians and Italians would be going too far, too. But maybe that fantasy Mamluk is Ottoman. lIn any way, that trailer looks horrendous. Also, nice dogfight in the Grand canyon.

It's not about realistic or not. Not really. It's just that the style they're going for completely doesn't fit the theme they've stated. It's nothing to do with realism, nor my expectations - I would never expect them to make a realistic ww1 game.

I just think that the trailer looks ridiculous.

Anyways, saw a breakdown of weapons shown in the trailer. There was some speculation that there were Carcano carbines at one point, thus suggesting the Italians are in, but even if that is not the case and they misidentified them, the helmets are definitely Adrians which would mean the French are in fact in.
