I have the latest rls and no options.dat .. so that's not common? then i need to get it from somewhere..

edit: i asked my friend & he told me he doen't have options.dat neither

What precise error message does it give you?

The options.dat file is located here in Windows XP for any recent version of M&B:
C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR_USERNAME>\Application Data\Mount&Blade

It's created by the game. If it's not there, M&B apparently hasn't saved any options.

What does it matter anyway? You have no need to find the file unless you feel like hex editing it yourself.

At first the battlesize changer didn't work with an error: can't find options.dat .. i thought i should try the game then quit.. maybe it will make the file .. but did not (but i couldn't exit the game properly.. always some kind of error).. i figured out that the HDR add-on makes the game crazy, now it quits properly -->> and now, there is an options.dat! i think that's the same for Valarius

Makes sense, if you were never able to close the game without it crashing it might never have been able to save its settings.

even it is 1.05 it kinda works, but you need to consider if it's like 72=100

Hey i've downloaded your mod it looks awesome but when i click on the .exe (waht i'm supposed to do right?) It says cannot find options.dat make sure you have played m&b at least once or something like that. This is prbl very simple and i apologise in advance.
