in version 0.632 the time it takes to load battle mode (from the time i click "attack the enemy" to the time you are in battle mode) was less than 1 second. after 0.7 patch, it's now 15-20 seconds.
it's pretty ridiculous when it's just me and my 2 meatshields vs 5 river pirates. there must be something wrong with the code, or some optimization that needs to be done. i realize that it's new code, but it's really a major annoyance. please fix this quickly.
these are my system specs and i shouldn't be getting such poor performance:
asus p4p800-e mobo
p4 3.2E cpu
1024gb ddr400 kingston ram
sapphire ati x800pro (cat 5.8 )
creative sound blaster audigy 2 (newest drivers)
winxp pro sp2
i'm hoping to get some feedback on how many others have noticed the same phenomenon. i've heard that some others are having this problem, but some are not. let's see how widespread this problem is.
