Well that, battered kite shield is tier 5, and reinforced kite shield is tier 3.

In general, the good shields in the game do not look good, they are broken wood or ugly, like the western riders kite shield.

The problem isnt the tier. The tier just represents the overall strength compared to others. The problem lies with the insane high stats of the battered kite shield. Mainly the 480 endurance is insane. I think that size, weight and speed also calculate towards tier. Like stated above, well designed shields underperform ugly cheap ones.

I know. Wicker squire 41950 denars, or rough tied bracers 30 armor, 5 more than mail gauntlets (25 armor). I suppose they will release a mod to be able to edit the prices and values of the items. Although they could also make a little sense ...
