Battania domination

Sooo I've been playing bannerlord a lot since it came out... havent had my warband fix for years... so time kinda flew by... Anyway, joined Khuzait and participated very slightly in our war with the.... empire.. I think?

Anyway, after a lil bit I zoom out to the entire map for the first time in a whole only to see that Battania has almost complete wiped out most of the other factions... 3 hours later and it's only Khuait and Battania left... This is without me affecting any wars at all 22 hours in and one factionhas pretty much won by self.

Something similar has happened in my bothers playthrough, though not with Battania, but another faction... This is early access so I'm certainly fine with a good share of wonkiness.. but I don't think this is intended, and I'm surprised noone on the dev team has caught this.

I wonder what'll happen once they decide to declare war on Khuzait and wipe us out.
Anyway I guess I'm stuck fighting looters and bandits untill doomsday hits

In my playthrough its all pretty even. Vlandia took some from Sturgia and made peace. Northern Empire made war with Khuzait and wiped them out except 1 city. Khuzait leader joined Vlandia so they are now at war with the last Khuzait city. All 3 empires fighting eachother xD

I think any faction that starts winning...generally keeps winning. There aren't enough slowdown mechanics in place at the moment, something for balance to look at later.

Turns out that AI rulers can go bankrupt and not be able to afford their own armies. Ultimately becoming stuck in a loop after a few bad defeats. This is especially bad when they can't leave their own castles due to looters spawning in the dozens. If you notice your own faction barely ever forms armies to attack or defend, this is probably why.

This is really messing up campaign balance.
