Bashkirs, Kalmyks etc..

wondering if these were ever considered of being implemented into russia forces? they were indeed used during the napoleonic wars. as a horse archer/lancer unit (low unit count, low stats and cheap)? it would be interesting i think to use them as irregular cavalry.

its a useless thread use it on the suggestion thread and even then it might not be handled to well there

russia already has 4 units of cav all very good and balanced they can be said to have the best cav in the game due to the sheer number of options to choose they dont need any more

well yeah, sometimes they took part in some sort of minor raids with cossaks, but they were quite uneffective and pretty scarce. So it makes no sense to put it in the mod, not to mention making a thread about it

During the battle of Leipzig...
he describes the Bashkirs as just "irregulars" disorganized.
he was actually wounded by an arrow in his right thigh and witnessed one of his N.C.Os' die to an arrow.

Have you thought about gameplay issues at all? Horse archery even if just slight and nurfed would be way overpicked to using a dragoon or lancer. If you've ever played against khergits you'd know how annoying it is ... and if you've played the mercenaries mod with nurfed horse archery you still get owned by it ... also with the slow reload time a hovering horse archer is not what you need in any musket mod just tapping you with arrows every time your about to reload.

Sorry but I think this has been considered before and said No to.
