Barely adequate?

I've got bread, grain, dates, grapes, olives, cabbage, fish, fruit, sausage, beef, honey, cheese, dried meat, pork (taken from a bandit camp and rushed back to the castle before it went off), and butter, and the variety is barely adequate? Are all my lords foodies or what? If I went to someone's house for a party and they had a spread like that I'd figure it's damned adequate.

Same for drink: wine and beer, also barely adequate, but what else is there?

Is this an issue that didn't get addressed in the latest patch?

Is your feast inventory completely full?

For drinks, the wording may not be correct. There are only 2 types of drinks, so rightfully there's no way for you to get more variety. What you need to do to make it abundant is simply add more wine and ale. The "variety" will then increase.

"Variety" implies different types of foods, but in this game treat it as "quantity" as well.

Also, did you get this problem only in the latest patch v1.124? Because I suggested to increase the consumption of feasts, but there is always a chance that some coding error happened.

Wine and Ale are not consumables though.  They are only trade items so I don't think they even count.

Oil is also not 'consumable' but does count when it comes to throwing feasts.  I believe you need far more than one of each item for it to count.

Yes they count as drinks for the purposes of feasts.

Have you added 2-3 stacks of each type of food?

And you could still pillage a village for chicken.

I'm not sure, but I think honey is considered as drink ( don't ask why).  :???:

I've never managed to get chicken and pork as I don't raid villages. So my limit is magnificent drink and adequate food.

I thought I read a bug report where they were looking at adding them in properly, but can only find one now saying they aren't

So I guess we are going to have to mod these in when we get to final/stable patch.

If I can add cows, why not  pigs and chickens to villages or are they too low below cows for are not so noble persons.
