Bannerlord uninstalled by itself

I downloaded bannerlord yesterday, put 14 hrs into the game, shut down my computer load it up today only to see bannerlord has decided to uninstall itself from my pc. Is this a steam bug or something to do with the game? Has anyone else had this issue?

Same thing has just happened to me. The game froze, I restarted my computer and now it says its uninstalled.

Same for me. Even when I've started downloading again, it deleted ~15GB of downloaded game files.

Your install died of old age. Did you make sure Bannerlord had children?

That is a whole new level of EPIC. Games on Steam should never be able to "uninstall" unless given permission by USER. Are you sure you arent running some off brand OS we are not aware of?

That just happened again. The moment when i press "continue downloading" in steam, it decides to start downloading from 0%. Game files getting deleted instantly.

Are the files actually gone or does steam just not recognize that it is there?

Wasn't going to reply to this thread because don't have anything to add to help but after reading the replies I wanted to say this made made laugh. Game has so many bugs but this one is the best.

Yes, files actually gone. Game folder is empty.

This morning wanted to get on to play some multiplayer after a long single player session yesterday. The game has uninstalled itself from the Steam library, but the files seem to still be there in the Steam Apps folder.

Another frustration though, is that to reinstall the game (or at least force steam to recognise the existing files), it apparently needs 62GB of space... which is not true at all the download is more like 32GB. So in order to be able to reinstall the game i already have installed, i will have to clear off more than double the space actually required by the game.

This is an expensive early access.

As far as I know this is a steam bug, a lot of different games deleted/deletes itself
