I shall most likely get two copies. One digital so that I can play it as soon as it is available and one physical to add next to the other M&B games. Then prob give the extra key to a friend or maybe sell / trade it. Hopefully we will get the map in the physical version like we got with the early M&B release.

I’d be surprised if Bannerlord releases with a physical copy option. Where would you even buy it nowadays?

I always get my copies physically, I like owning their boxes I think, we can buy it from D&R or MediaMarkt.

EDIT: I am saying this again it would be very cool of them to sell a special edition of the game involving an action figure.

What means many mods once, you can combine mods in one large?

Basically a simple module system.
To compare, in warband you had to select one module to play on, on bannerlord you'll be able to , for example, activate Floris Mod, and on top of that an equipment pack of your liking, as well a a texture mod or whatever.
In short, it allows further customizing of what content to use ingame on user end. Which is incredible.

But activating more mods will be cool even for me, sincerly Bannerlord will be superior in many ways from other games, I must says as exist confusion because many believe as Bannerlord will be RPG but actually action RPG with RTS elements as Warband. I believe as will be Sea Raiders and bandits for  early game fun

I again give life to thread

I and all M&B community wait as Bannerlord comes out, I am interested by mods because I can't play games without them,  I dreaming as will be great mods superior or on par with better known mods, maybe remakes or newer ones because Taleworlds care about modding so much than other companies

I don't think there would be too many remakes of mods. Many of them are pretty old, and the creators might not even play the game anymore. Sure, other people could step up and remake a mod they loved, but why wouldn't they just make their own?

The only one I can think of is FI3, which last time I heard, the team said they'd do for Bannerlord. I also know that DoctorThomas said he wouldn't be doing a 1257 for BL, but he did say he would like to explore a smaller, more concentrated conflict instead.

I like that, I can't play 1257 because of how big it is, yes it improves a lot upon gameplay but it would take me months to finish that kind of map, (I barely finished native) I never saw the point of mods having a thousand factions while a few do the trick

I have played 1257 but mod try to be historical, map is too huge and take time to conquer completed by a larger number of factions, also female faces are blurry and exaggerated. I know as not will be remakes because modders moved to other games with better engines or real life keep away from playing any game. I wait new mods which will explore awesome modding possibilitaties of Bannerlord engine

I've played the 1257: Middle Europe sub-mod to it, and the huge map works well enough with 5 factions, except when your faction leader calls you to arms.  Trying to find a faction leader on the move on that enormous map can be an exercise in frustration, and I've failed miserably when they traveled to an entirely different faction's territory 2-3 days travel time away.  By the time I get the message that they initiated a siege of Castle "x" (deep in Russia), 2-3 days from when I got the call, I'm searching the area where they were when they originally sent the message (Czech territory), 2-3 days journey from where they are now.  If they'd stay put until you arrived, it would work, but I suspect that's build into the .exe file and can't be changed.

I've always hated how the ai will just run off all the way across the map to burn some random village or besiege a random castle. I think it would be cool if factions had some sort of boundary, where a friendly or neutral faction won't be bothered if you cross the line (as long as you're not marching a huge army), but the deeper into enemy territory you go, patrols or castle garrisons or something will gang up on you. Sure, you might be able to fight one or two off, but eventually you'll have to leave or be defeated in a battle. The hard part with that though would be making the ai aware of the faction boundaries, as otherwise you'd just keep having lords ride around getting ganged up on constantly.
