Bannerlord Online mod

@Emil oh, fair enough then
The thread itself consist of criticism towards the vague definition of stuff like ''You're not allowed to restrict game play'', since a lot of custom scripted servers in WB does just that as their purpose are to make players progress in a slow manner (PW/PK), prisoners vs guards (Jailbreak), being a friggin' ship (Skagerrak) and so forth. So whether those rules are always enforced or reserved to take down toxic servers remains unknown, but this far only edgy and dodgy servers have been banned and I'd doubt large communities will ever be at risk, not that we'd risk ours to prove it, but others have. :smile:

Someone needs to publish a meditation guide on how to survive amidst all these HA players. :cry:

From the discord of the mod:

No one hears “6v6 skirmish” and wants to buy a game for multiplayer, but if there was 6 1500 slot servers for a persistent world experience then you get the above.

3 of my friends who liked the concept of warband but did not play it due to the graphics, bought bannerlord before 3 days for Bannerlord Online. While they are a bit underwhelmed by the mod currently, none of them regretted the purchase and recognize the potential. They play a few hours every day and then log off, but they like it a lot and they cant wait for the future updates. This is the power of freedom in gameplay, not the bull**** classes/skirmish/unbalanced factions native has. TW better be learning a lesson from this, because at this point its ridiculing all their efforts.

Hah!

Learning? No way. Who needs that when you have a vision? :mrgreen:

Learning is for the weak. Chad devs flex by pissing off the players and getting away with it and then stealing their girlfriends.
Beta games are for beta males eager to learn how to play an unfinished game - a real man would skip tutorials and find the best cheats so he can win, not learn. The time you waste on reading and posting about a game should be spent instead on hitting on every woman in range. The only excuse not to do this is when you need to post all those unban requests and try to find someone literate to do it for you.

VOTOFOK GUYS But initial reaction is very promising. The vast majority (i mean VAST) of the testers love it HOW DARE U TO SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT SUCH PERFECT EQUIPMENT SYSTEM VOTOFOK GUYS DON'T YOU LOVE IT?
That thread actually makes me sad. So much great and valid information. And it is being tossed away because some devs, with suppot of, I don't know, Gamescom testers (??), thought it was nice. Thinking of it, was not the first beta build, that was in some way public, handed out to friends and familiy members of the team? I just imagine the parents of the developers telling the devs it was a super cool experience, having played it for 45 minutes before they had to make dinner.

Thanks for that link, I keep hearing this as a sarcastic remark, but never thought it was so well deserved. I wonder who is the driving force behind MP classes at Taleworlds and probably the real obstacle to change. Someone who likes focus groups full of new players.

"Just so you all know what petmonster's place in the conversation is, he is one of the people who designed the class system and works on designing and balancing the premade classes. I won't speak on his behalf, but I will remind you all that his job is as a designer and he has come here in his free time to engage in a discussion about this with you. One thing I will say about this is that English isn't his native language and after discussing this post with him, what he wanted to convey wasn't what I personally interpreted from the post. So, please keep that in mind and don't take what he has to say the wrong way. Just like everyone else here discussing the game, he wants it to be the best it can be, and sometimes, that is expressed through passionate statements like this." - Callum
