Bannerlord not working on GeforceNow anymore

Wait, you pay for GeForce Now and on top of that you pay for the game itself?! I thougt the entire idea behind is like a fixed monthly price for every game on there
You are confusing GeForce NOW with subscriptions like Xbox game pass. The idea of GeForce NOW is that, instead of rendering the frames on your own computer, a server run by Nvidia renders the frames and sends them to your pc.

This means that anyone with a good internet connection can play any game at 1080p 60fps, regardless of how **** their PC is. Obviously, buying and running servers with GPUs costs money, so it's already a miracle that there is even a free version at all.

That said, if someone has a **** pc and was relying on GeForce NOW, then they are now no longer able to play. This deserves a hot fix, and at the very least a response.

one can only pray that this doesn't become a industry standard, else we'll be locked online to play every single game :xf-eek:
Good luck when your ****ty ISP decides to **** you over or bottleneck your connection hahaha

Thats me. I love that I can play Bannerlord with 1000 man battles on my ****ty laptop. But right now I can't.

Also Taleworlds PLEASE enable the steam workshop its the only way I can have mods with GFN

I think its interesting that cloud gaming is becoming a reality just when Starlink is. It's like the 2 were made for each other.

Well, apparently we still have time before it is perfected...

I disagree, but your argument is true. Cloud gaming is great if there is healthy competition for both the cloud gaming services and ISPs. If you live in the parts of the US where there is only one available ISP, though, cloud gaming is not a positive prospective.

That said, people bought this game with the knowledge that it is available on GeForce NOW, so it is quite poor that this goes 3 days without a response.

it's a dangerous practice mate, internet is part of our lives? yes, pretty much, but it should not be made more important than it already is by concentrating everything on it. I'm from Brazil, but currently live in Italy. Both countries have really trash internet services. It's a nightmare if you are locked into internet dependencies. And if this becomes industry standard, then it may cause a serious issue to computer Hardware market as well as risking the creation of a monopoly. Not good at all, having agency and independence with products is what's at stake, it's already nightmarish with services like Steam, with something like this it would be very aggravating.
It must remain an option, but it cannot ever be made into the standard. Else instead of helping ppl with bad PC, it'll be detrimental to everyone

Just here to bump this. There are various crash issues with Bannerlord beside the Geforce Now service, too, I hope TW is fixing this in prio..

We are aware of this problem. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Thank you for your bit of feedback! 2 days has passed, so the folks begin to despair at the GFN forums and these are hard times for the Geforce Now service, received a lot of critic lately about the sudden game withdrawals - but don't get me wrong, I don't want to put much pressure on you.

It's great that you answered guys. And I think I speak for everyone here when I say that we understand it can be difficult to come up with easy and fast solutions. Although it would be great and reassuring to have some more information about the nature of the problem.

A lot of people are starting to wonder about the withdrawal of the game from GeForce platform. I have to say, in my personal case, that I love this game but I only bought it because I could play on the platform. The PC I currently have can't run the game properly. It would be extremely sad and frustrating if this all ends up in the withdrawal of the game.

As I said before, thanks for answering but it would be amazing if we could have some more information about the problem. I am pretty sure people would stop bothering and putting pressure on you guys if you could only let us know what is wrong. Is it because of the patch update? Or is it because of a conflict of interest with the platform? Are we going permanently to lose access to the game?

Thanks again for any information you can provide us!

Just want to echo the others comments, thanks for responding - hoping for some more info and a fix soon but we appreciate you folks are working hard.

Made a talesworld account to bump this, please fix please!!! Quarantine and lockdown has us needing this game!

Ha ha so true ! Thank you Taleworlds for the response. Nvidia is clearly to blame here for their lack of transparency.

The casuals are starting to see how bad this game has been managed, hopefully this will spark some real significant changes in the development and community interaction.
