I thought it would be interesting to see how the AI would go about conquering territory, but the results from my little experiment surprised me a bit! I'm curious, did anyone else have similar results?

I don't believe this can be considered very valid since right now there are bad settlement and castle placements that cause several lords to go bankrupt. Then never be able to recruit troops after losing a few battles. Leading to the AI never being able to contribute to their faction's wars.
I'll be interested to see how longterm wars go once the AI for rulers can always reliably build up their forces. Battania doesn't seem to be affected by bandit party overloads as much by being out in the middle of the continent.

It's not really supposed to prove anything to be honest, it's just more of something that I found interesting. I might take a look at doing a similar video to this in the future, maybe when the game is released, just to see how it changes compared to this first video.

Mine went completely different. Vlandia took 2 settlements from Sturgia, Northern Empire wiped out Khuzait except 1 city. Southern Empire invaded Aserai like in yours. Western Empire lost 2 cities to Battania. Then all Empire factions went to war, Khuzait faction leader defected to Vlandia resulting in a war between them and the last Khuzait city

Dude Empire took everything in my game, Was at war with them. But they are too strong.

My Battanians immediately wiped out the Western Empire before trading cities constantly with the Southern Empire. The Eastern khergit guys were relocating north into the snow, and everyone else was kind of just staying put.

Battania stayed about the same size on my run past day 300. Khuzaits got much of their land taken though. I don't have a problem with smaller factions conquering the world as it's pretty realistic IRL if you look at the British, Roman empires, how a smaller faction was able to colonize India or Imperial Japan and Mongols conquering China.

I do have a problem with the rate of the imperialism though which should ideally be much slower or take up many more years, decades at least to conquer most of the map.
