Banner problem

um, hello, could some graphic artist help me with a banner?

It's the bottom-left one (number 14) with the eagle. It doesn't show up in game. If someone is interested in helping poor Ziame, please do so, I'd be very grateful

Oh, right. That one is closed off in the module_system. Do you have the module system?


If you don't, there are still ways to use it, but that'd cost you antoher banner. Also, that's number 15, not 14.

14, cause the first one is 0, and no, it doesn't involve module system, I need a graphic or someone who's done the banners before. I think it just needs a mipmap or something.

I've done some banners before and they worked just this goddamn banner doesn't want to and I think it's pretty nifty

first off, what software are you using?  Did you save it over the original DDS?  Did you start a new game?  Give some info on what it is you actually have done.  There is no trick to changing the images for each banner.  I changed them all.  If this is for a mod, you should be saving it in your module's texture folder with the same banner name as the one you are replacing.  Start a new game, choose your banner.

Fact is, that place has a different banner in native, check banners_a. That banner does NOT appear, which is why I said it was closed off in the module system. But, if you just copy and paste it over another banner that does work, then it'll work, but you'd lose the banner you copied over. Also, it really is banner 15. The first one is banner_a01. At least, this seems to be the native banners_a with some replacement banners.

Using GIMP, I deleted the banner from that place, and made a new one, when I start new game, it doesn't show up to be chosen. I've saved it over the original DDS


EDIT: It's working but the banner is square (not rectangular) ingame. What can be done about this?

That is the mesh, some banner have different shapes, you have to place it over a banner with the shape you want.
Or you have to start messing around with the .brf's as well.
