SP - Player, NPCs & Troops Banner on Vlandian Troop armor

Does it bother anyone that the white tabard and coat of plates over mail armor show the banner of King Derthert of house dey Meroc. I would prefer if it was the bannerlord of the lord who controls that said force. Because I'm planning on making my own faction out of the vlandian territory but I don't want every one to be wearing the old king's banner on their outfits.

I agree with you, but, remember that banners (items) are not introduced to the game yet. Both are concepts that require the banner to be printed over moving parts in battle (unlike Shields) and may come together in an update.
I would be surprised if they don't eventually convert the armour you're talking about into something like the Heraldic Armours from Warband
