With the banners, everyone naturally has their likes and dislikes of each one, whether it be because of the colour, style, image or layout.
Rather than making even more banners to try and compensate for those who are picky (like myself), as I see there are a few mods done to do so already, a simple banner creation feature could be added (should only take a day to put together) that allows you to do the following:
- Pick the style of flag, eg. Rectangle or V-Bottom (not sure what the right name is for that)
- Choose the background colour (with a hexidecimal colour range with light to dark rather than a few colour choices)
- Choose whether or not you have a pattern over the background, and what colour the pattern is, eg. the simple cross pattern, half of the flag another colour, the 'clubs' symbols, etc
- Choose whether or not you have an image featured on your banner and what colour the image is, eg. crossing swords, the lion (green, red, whatever colour goes best with your banner and faction desires), etc
I find the main problem is not getting the colours I want. The colours alone have put me off of many of the banners, so even if the banner creation isn't implemented, then, at least, the option to choose the colours for your banner. But being able to mix-and-match would definitely be the preferred option.
