That’s exactly happening now. For chinese admins made up rules (with mostly censorships following by china laws) which enforced in all servers, resulting a 10 years ban for your “inappropriated behaviors”. Chinese admins call this political matters and have every thread locked in reddit or here lmao.

I have more evidence to prove the truth about they banned players coz their avatar or/ id name,I think it's true, look at this example.
but i still looking Taleworlds next move to decided my move.

Moderation had to shut two threads down, because the amount of xenophobia and racist language was becoming an issue. There's also not a lot we can actively discuss and these threads derail into political arguments quite quickly, which would be fine it this was not the on-topic section of a video game.
This one did not feature any of that, hence it will stay open. Keep it classy though.
I can only repeat my previous statement that Taleworlds will most likely issue a statement soon, possibly investigate on their own before doing so. It's probably the best time for a quick reminder that moderation consists of volunteers.
To the issue at hand:
10 year bans are excessive. A few months usually do well enough to deter future misbehaviour or can be renewed if there is no improvement. Bans should be easy enough to retrace and should be reduced or lifted depending on the reason given.
Political criticism is not a reason justifying a ban, though the amount of it should be fairly limited given the nature of a multiplayer game. In my opinion the only actions worthy of punishment are those that purposefully harass other players and harms their playing experience.

Is that truth the Chinese Official take over every Official server's or/ East-Asia management permit?Because it seems you never answer the community's question.
As a European player supporting this company since Warband, I would be quite upset if what (some) people have been recently reporting is true. I cannot accept the idea that Chinese mods can ban players from ALL servers because of political censorship.
I can live with them having their rules in their server, but everything beyond that it is not acceptable.
Also I am quite sure this breaks quite a few European Union and its member states laws on freedom of speech and discrimination, so you should be careful with that.
Dear Taleworlds, do your rightful business with the Chinese but do not allow them to extend their censorship Beyond their domain.
Really looking forward to a clarification from Taleworkds. I will be very happy to know this is not true or has been fixed.

He didn't mention he was from asia when i posted. Also the issue was addressed in another thread
the forum moderators are forum moderators. we have nothing to do with steam and reddit.
also this. we can only guess and wait.
As mikelao9374 pointed out, moderation is not employed by Taleworlds. We're involved in matters concering this particular forum and not into direct management of game servers Unless I have some definitive knowledge on things I personally will rather make it clear it's just a guess or just don't reply to questions I do not have the answers to.
The best thing we can do with issues like this is raise them some extra awareness, which already have done, so now it's wait and see for all of us at this point.
Also what @Antoine de Saint-Exupéry just said, just in fewer words than me.
Btw I have a question that are you sure Taleworlds have already noticed this situation and making moves? I am worried about: maybe they still do not realize things happening here, because none of Taleworlds member make a statement, or at least mention us officially that they are doing something.
We've adressed the issue and forwarded it. The official statement will most likely made by Callum, whom I assume will get around to do it as soon as possible.

Like banning someone for an avatar of a Chinese politician in a computer game is not an act of political argument...
