Banks

I havent seen any posts on this so if its a repeat sorry...

I was playing runescape and as comparing the details from that to this game... and I thought it would be a great idea to have a bank in each town... Or someplace to be able to hold your items... so you can stock up on shields, weapons, and food to just be able to go and pick up from each town.. Just my input

Apparently Arma does assume the character has his items stored in a bank, but doesn't make that explicit. When you lose a fight, you lose a portion of your money and some items. This assumes you have the rest stored away safely somehow. After all, why would bandits only take away some of your money and goods, instead of all?

I suppose thats the idea behind it but...me wants a "storage box"!!! If you lose a battle, you lose ALL the gold you are carrying. Also when trying to save items you inventory looks really cluttered and i have sold items i was saving by accident on occasion. So at the absolute very least, how about being able to divide your inventory into different sections? So that everytime you view your inventory for whatever reason, you don't have to go through those 15 sumpter horses you were gathering for the count.

Yea thats all i would really want would be a place to store things like you said for organization

or, maybe, just a chest in each town that says "Personal storage," or maybe in the tavern, you could access your storage place. All kinds of things you could do...

personaly, the tavern one is the best. You could even program a new NPC and call it the Warehouse Manager or w/e. Talk to the person to store items in the warehouse, and if you want... there could be interest. Interest is nice, eh? Put 10k in the bank, come back in a couple days and u got 15k

That would work for me.

Diablo.

No, rather make a loanshark / bank in each city-menu! You could store money and items in a bank, or borrow from a loanshark! If in future you could join the bandits, then you could have a mission or an option of robbing a bank in some town.

Your character is a natural born smuggler. He has a habbit of hiding money and items into different locations. So bandits never find em all!

Yep. That's exactly the way I was thinking about it.

Though I can understand people who want banks to be used explicitly.

I got robbed by one of those bandit ambushes I lost 63,000 denars, regardless of what anyone has said (in this topic or any other), I think that in these new versions (.952) stashing, buring or putting denars in the bank needs to be implemented, In real life 63,000 denars don't fit in my pockets!
So please.
Or at least a maximum to what they can steal at one given time!
