Bandits & Outlaws

Hello I'd like to play a kinda rogue game so...
1. Is there any way to increase your standing with the outlaws?
2. Is there any way to increase your controversy?
3. Is there any way to recruit bandits by not going the - "Club em' and recruit them as prisoners" - that just ruins morale...

Ah sorry.

To raise controversy, become the marshal of your kingdom.

Also, I think if you spread the word that you intend to be king, it raises controversy as well.

There was a Bandit King mod for mount & bladea long , long time ago

with the simple recruit troops at taverns mod, you can recruit bandits easily.
