Just for realism sake why dont you have the remaining bandits drop their weapons after I duel and beat the bandit boss..

I agree, this would be a good addition. Having both your troops and the enemy troops just stand there with a blank stare kills the immersive experience. Especially when you are fighting the bosses who can 1-hit you it can be quite thrilling.
