Resolved Bandit Recruitment Dialogue Stuck

Summary: The game gets stuck in bandit surrender dialogue screen after opening the bandit recruitment screen
How to Reproduce: Make Bandits surrender, go to bandit recruitment screen, press cancel or done doesn't matter as far as I am aware. You are now forever stuck in bandit surrender dialogue screen and nothing besides alt-f4 works.
Version: 1.4.3
Installed community-made modifications: None

I have this same issue. It's making it impossible to play the game.

I am also having the same issue with the bandits surrendering but the new conversation screen is stuck and will not return to the over-world.

Edit: it was a 9 person army of bandits, and version 1.4.3 Beta.)
