Bandit lairs

Looked over the wiki and did a quick scan of the forums but didn't find anything. I've a question regarding bandit lairs. I find tundra bandits excellent for training troops and have recently stumbled across a lair of theirs. I am dying to attack it but have a little worry. If I destroyed it would the tundra bandits stop spawning?

No, they just spawn more bandits than usual in the area. They will keep spawning at a lesser rate however..

don't worry, it will dissapear, but only for a few days, it will respawn eventually, but i can't be sure if in exactly the same place, also i would first go look for a lord who asks u to deal with the lair..

also the looting is decent and plenty

i don't know the respawn time either...

imho, if it as good as u say, just let it be for now, and train on the parties

also, where did u find yours? i have a quest to take one down, but can't find any....

I found it in the tundra(next to the Vaegir kingdom). But unless you got a quest to destroy a tundra bandits lair then you won't find it there. What kind of bandits are you supposed to be hunting?

Imo the lairs spawn much to quickly. I've destroyed the sea raider lair 4 times in a couple weeks(spawned right next to ruvar, one of my villages, every time) and it's there again. Maybe a 1-4 weeks time before respawn. Atm I have to assign a lord to patrol the village just to keep the ever increasing numbers of sea raiders from flooding the area.

You can adjust the frequency of raider spawns, along with their party sizes, using TweakMB.

They spawn without the quest.  I've come across a forest bandit lair and a desert bandit lair without the quest.  Although currently I have a quest to find another desert one, but it seems impossible.  I just need to patrol the desert extensively.

I know. I don't have a quest to attack mine. It's just he won't complete the quest by destroying a tundra bandit lair if he's been told to destroy a steppe bandit lair for example.
