This will be the reincarnation of the so called "BMW" thread where the general forum populace can learn the reasons behind a member of the community being banned, muted or warned. However, due to the previous version of this thread requiring too much moderator time and being used outside of its purpose, we have decided to change things up a bit on this version.
Why do we have this?
This thread aims to inform the forum users about what will result in punitive action without experiencing it firsthand. With keeping a log of bans, mutes and warnings, we hope that members learn from the mistakes of others.
How it works:
This thread will stay locked and will be updated by the moderators.
Moderation members that have given out bans, mutes or warnings will provide profile links of persons affected and state the reason for the action taken by the moderation team.
Not every punitive action taken by the moderation team will make its way here, some can be forgotten. Use the search function for the information you desire. If you can not find it, ask a moderator and the thread will then be updated with the necessary information.
When messaging moderators or admins for information not present in this thread, please keep the last activity date of the moderator in mind.
