One of these things should take out anything it hits, its difficult to aim and slow to reload as it is, but it can't penetrate shields? Also about how they're deployed, if they were lower down on the wall and positioned to cover bottlenecks they'd be more effective because horizontal means more killing power but also makes it risk to man them
